[That simple text was sent out, along with brief directions to the front of Inanna's temple. He wanted to get stronger and test out his new weapons-besides, no one could complain he started the fight this time.]

[He's just sitting outside, enjoying the nice weather and waiting for something to fight when he gets this message. His mood immediately sours.]

[read "choosing my battles" as "choosing to harass Hibari only on the network where he can't kick my ass"] In that case, perhaps you should challenge Roxas again instead? I think he was holding back on you last time. Of course, it would be a waste of energy to expend more than what's necessary on such a pathetic idiot.

[Did Roxas even "win"? Add honestly has no idea since he was half-conscious for most of the fight, but whatever. For the sake of trash talking he is going to assume Hibari got his ass kicked. If nothing else, he can be sure that Roxas was able to bring him back to the temple with minimal injuries (well, for Roxas, anyway).]

I wasn't using my full strength. It would've been a waste.

[He just wanted the guy to get the idea that Add was off-limits, though he's starting to think some shinki don't have survival instincts between that encounter and Hibari having gotten himself killed]

[Well, he'd beat up Add any day of the weak, but he wasn't an actual threat like Roxas was. And he was pissed off at the asshole who liked to believe he was superior because he had magic tricks.]
