She's not used to technology okay?
This message penned on the 17th of June and intended for all inhabitants of The Far Shore.
I write to you with an uncertain heart. No doubt in distant lands like Piltover or Zaun, such devices as these are commonplace. On the slopes of Mt. Targon, life is much more austere. As such, I find this "smartphone" to be strange and wondrous, if not a touch unnerving.
If I have read these instructions correctly, this missive should be sent immediately to all other residents of the Heavens. If this is so, I suspect this to be an excellent way to learn something about my fellow deities or shinki. When I was a young girl, I had a pen pal in Demacia. I suppose this is something slightly similar to that. If we are to do this job at all, we should do it together, which starts with getting to know each other. Who are you? Where did you come from? What do you think about our very strange situation?
I look forwards to your response, and will of course answer any questions you might have as well.
Sincerely,
Leona, God of the Sun
PS: Is there any way I can write these with a pen like a normal person? This "keyboard" is ridiculous.

You are right about shinki, I suppose. I should have thought of that.

I would think that a sun god would fight with fire.

Fire is a very powerful weapon that would suit a sun god. But as I said, I don't feel like a god yet.

VIdeo
Something kinda like this?
audio
Ah! It did something, I think...
Video
Try again, at least now you know what that button does.

[Voice call ended.]
I did not intend to do that.
Video
Sorry to hear that. Or I guess... not hear it, in this case. You'll learn the symbols but there should be three -- text, voice, and video. Look for... I think it's a triangle pointed into a circle for the video? Best way I can describe it.
Video
I wonder what that symbol has to do with sending you my face like this.
It is working, right? Hello.
Re: Video
[ He shrugs. Not like he ever learned the origins of Chinese symbols and what their shapes represented either, he just gradually learned to memorize enough to get by. ]
But you got it working, that's right.
[ A thumbs up. ]
Now you can use this instead if you want. I like it better than writing everything out like that - plus I can't describe a lot of stuff I see.

...I remember you. The big man with the sword from the sparring ring.

Hah, that's me alright. I'll take that impression any day. You're the one in the embellished armor.
I know we technically have all the time in the world, but my spelling and handwriting's just not my strong suit, so video it is.

Unfortunately not. But you haven't heard of youkai either, I'd wager. Or the castle where I served: Houtou.

As to what I think of our situation I attempted to discuss this before and was informed it would be wiser to keep my thoughts to myself. Suffice it to say that the way this place is run is somewhat peculiar, and its rulers do not much care for questions.

But as far as introductions are concerned, my name is Forrest. I'm the current substitute for Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and beauty, but I'm originally from a kingdom called Nohr.

I shall have to explore the many ways this machine may be used in detail at some point. It would be folly not to use every tool at my disposal.

It is very useful, though. I'm sure there are even some things I don't know. I had to be shown how to use it myself.

Hachiman - text
My name is Hijikata. As a god, I'm Hachiman, a local god of warriors and protection. I've been here about three months, and came either from the Near Shore of this world, or from another world very similar to it, but several generations in the past. The technology has taken some getting used to, but I can tell you that it does become less unnatural with time.
She figured out how to do audio and has switched to that

voice;
I refuse to touch them any more than I have to, however, so I prefer to use my voice instead.
[Not video, because it's actually really hard to trick cameras with magical illusion powers, and she doesn't want to show her real face.]
My name is Nightshade. I don't know where I came from, or anything about myself except that I am not human. So I don't have much to compare the strangeness of the situation to.
