I think tsuzuki's—um, I mean tajimamori's—gone again. he left for a little while before but he didnt say he was leaving again. Ive been looking around for a loooooooong time and I cant find him anywhere.

does anyone know where he went? did he go visit anyone else? and it sounds weird but I cant find the temple either. I was so sure it was here but I cant find it.

I think I just got lost again （◞‸◟）it's getting dark now too...

anyway tsuzuki's coming back though right?

Alright, but first you have to tell me where exactly are you right now. What can you see nearby? Any temples or buildings?

yeah! there are some around here. [She gave a description of where she was. In truth she was only a short walk away from where Tsuzuki's temple was, but thinking she was lost was preferable to knowing the temple was gone.]

[For a moment he debates with himself what to do now, before typing directions to where Tsuzuki's temple should be.]

...I think this should be the right way from there. Can you see the temple?

[After sending that he also makes his way towards the place where the temple used to be.]

I dont see it! I thought I followed youre directions right! maybe I should go back and try again.

[There was still that vain hope that she had just made a mistake and everything could just go back to how it was yesterday.]

[After some time, Yuto finally gets to the place where Tsuzuki's temple used to be... and it's not here anymore. The frown on his face deepens.

Huh? [She jumped. That part was a foregone conclusion, considering all the things on her mind.]

Oh, yeah... I am. ["Was" was a better word for it, but she couldn't bring herself to say it.] You're one of the people I was talking to on the network thing, right?

Yeah.

[Yuto looks at her for a long moment.]

...Are you alright? Should we... still keep looking?

[She stayed quiet for a few moments still.]

I want to keep looking, but...it's not going to do any good, is it?

[At first he doesn't know what to reply, but after a moment he frowns sadly, a trace of helplessness showing on his face.]

...We probably won't find him. [He pauses and almost with a sigh says:] I'm sorry.

Oh. N-no, it's okay. [That was just about all she could muster as an immediate response. She had been hoping that he would tell her she was just being silly and that they should keep looking. Unfortunately, it didn't seem she was that lucky.]

I guess that means you came out here to help me for nothing... Sorry. [She tried to smile to bring a little cheer to the situation, but that wasn't going so well.]

[He shakes his head.]

I don't think it's for nothing. [He still can do something for her.] Even though he's gone now, you can't lose hope. [He looks straight at her.] He'll come back. Maybe it will take a while, but you'll see him again.

[And then he looks down.]

And I'm not only saying this to cheer you up. I know how it feels when your god suddenly disappears.

[Two of his gods vanished and he hasn't seen them since, yet he has never abandon hope.]

You...do...? [She stared at him. He was right that she couldn't lose hope over this. Those hopeful words were really something she needed to hold on to in order to keep it together.

It was just that the whole situation still reminded her that she was alone.]

Thanks for saying that... Really. [Oh no. Oh no, oh no. She was really trying to stay composed, but her voice was cracking and there was a lump in her throat. Maybe he wouldn't notice.]

Yuto watches her for a few more seconds before walking up to her and putting his hand on her shoulder.]

[The hand on her shoulder was a distraction at least. She rubbed her eyes with her sleeve in the hopes that it would hide her current state, but she wasn't sure if she was succeeding, all things considered. This was so embarrassing.] Y-yeah... You're right. [She tried to smile.]

[He withdraws his hand and tilts his head a little.]

Is that supposed to be some sort of magic spell?

[It sure sounded like something a stage magician would say.]

[A nod.] It's a spell to give you good luck and put a smile on your face.

It's hard to smile now, but it'll be easier tomorrow! I think... [Except by saying that, she kind of admitted to forcing that smile from a minute ago.]

It's a good spell.

[He gives her a sad, but understanding look.]

But there's no need to force yourself to smile. Nobody expects you to be fine right away.

I know, but... [She pressed her lips into a fine line before finally speaking up again.]

If I don't, I feel like I'll cry or say something embarrassing.
