has anyone ever heard of a god's temple not letting people in? making them feel unwelcome. that kind of thing.

how do you fix it?

Of course! [ Sorey takes that hand into his own with a firm shake, letting go after with a momentarily curious look and- ah, right. ] Right, right. Well, come on in then!

So what kind of God is Pippa? [ The young God leads him inside the temple, which well Sorey is a pretty welcoming and friendly guy. So it should feel just as such. ]

Funny story! Goddess of love.

[Axel looks around. This place seems fine to him. No creepy feeling; no discomfort...]

... You know, it's not bugging me at all in here.

Goddess of Love? ..Aphrodite? Venus?

[ So, he's unable to enter the temple of a Goddess of Love without feeling uncomfortable? That's a bit strange.. huh. ] ..Really? That's good then! At least we can say so far it's just that temple specifically.

Though, I was wondering, if maybe it was part of the God or Goddess's intentions. What kind of person is she? [ Maybe she just isn't exactly in the welcoming and friendly mood like Sorey is here? ]

[Axel shrugs again, considering Pippa. What kind of person, huh. There's an interesting question.]

She's not bad. Gets weird about propriety sometimes.

Are you her only shinki as of right now? [ If not, it could help to see if it applies to all her shinki. Otherwise, the only other experiment is seeing how other people feel coming to that temple like he said earlier. ]

If she doesn't hold anything against you then I can't see why you would feel unwelcome there, especially since you're her partner. [ So either it's the temple or the Goddess, he feels. But it's still too hard to pinpoint what exactly. ]

Yeah, it's just her and me. I don't think she's got anything against me!

[He's not sure that's still going to be true after he got Susano'o and that other weird kid redecorating the temple, but hey, he tried! He'll even help her clean it up later. If he gets lots of breaks to go outside.]

If your place doesn't bug me, it's got to be something about hers.

[ Arms cross in thought, head tilting to the side. Well if she doesn't have anything against him- then maybe it is just the temple. Just as Axel adds at the end.

He honestly can't think of anything else. Aphrodite after all is the Goddess of Love.

Well, he shoots the other a smile after. ] I'm glad this helped cleared some things up! I'm honestly pretty curious as to what it is but maybe it just has to do with the temple like you said.

So far it's a mystery! But there's this one guy who's got an apartment building for a temple, so I might crash there until things get a little easier to handle around Pippa's place.

Anyway, thanks.

[Axel glances around the temple -- this one's not bad, really. Pretty. Not quite as pretty as Pippa's, but it doesn't make him want to flee, so that's a real plus.

Dryly, he adds:]

You don't need a fire-spouting Frisbee around here, do you?

It's good you have somewhere to stay as back-up in the meantime. But no problem, hope things get sorted out soon enough.

[ Sorey is quite proud of his temple, it really feels like "home" in a sense- but maybe that's because it's a temple modeled after him and all.

He laughs at those last words. ] Can't say I do, but the doors are open if the apartment building doesn't work out. [ Unfortunately he'd feel bad if Pippa lost her shinki! Though Axel seems like a cool guy so far. ]
