[The video feed clicks on to show Goten's face way closer up then it needs to be. He squints a bit at the screen as if trying to figure out if it's working or not. When he does lean back, there's no greenery or buildings behind him, just a vast blue sky dotted with clouds. It's easier to show everything from a bird's eye view, or at least he thinks so. For once the boy isn't grinning from ear to ear. He's much too confused and concerned right now.]

I think it's working....

Um, can temples just disappear? I can't find Archie anywhere either. All that's left are me and my new cloud friend here.

[He angles the video down to show the fluffy bright-yellow cloud he's sitting on. The cloud almost seems to bounce up in greeting. The video moves to look past the cloud and down far below at an nearly untouched beach with a cliff side. For anyone that had ever found or seen it, Dakuwaqa's temple has vanished.]

D-does that happen a lot? Where does everything go? I've looked all over...

[He already knows the god isn't around, that or he magically picked up and cleaned house. The name that was on his right hand is gone too so...His voice strengthens as he takes a deep breath and flips the camera back to his face in a sudden motion, frowning and trying to glare. He really is upset about this. He's hoping maybe the shark god just took his teasing or trick too far this time.]

Arrrrrrrrrrchie! You better answer me! If you're trying to play a trick on me I won't forgive you. You hear me! This isn't funny!

Sharakkkkkk!! You still around?

I'm ready if thats still okay! I made my way back to the beach.

[sonofson]

Oh! Ooooh! Yeah, it is a really nice beach huh? I really liked living here but I can still stop by whenever.

[He glances over to the cloud thoughtfully.] I guess so....I'll have to think of it for awhile. Make sure its a name it likes to!

[There's a brief thoughtful pause as an idea comes to mind]

Hey Hibiki wanna try to ride on it too? Maybe it'll let other people too?

[bussounoshima]

[Good boy! Sharak doesn't take long to answer.]

Wait on the beach, I'll be there soon.

[And she will! She's never been to the area, but it's not hard to teleport somewhere when you have a connection and an image in your mind, at least.]

[Goten perks at her when she walks close enough. He jumps down from the cloud and lands in the sand a ways below. Of course the cloud drifts down after him anyway.

Looking up at her, he blinks for a second before offering a smile]

It's Goten! Nice to meet you. I don't think I got your name either, miss!

Yeah it's gone... Like it was never there.

[He holds up his hand to show her. She had already seen his name before but now the skin is clear with no evidence of there ever being a name at all.]

I don't think anyone is lying....I just want Archie to be okay. I dont want another god either. I donno what to do Kairi.

I'm getting some food from someone else but, um....I wouldn't mind meeting up.

[He just met Kairi recently but she's really nice so...how could he not want to bounce ideas around. It helps that she's a shinki too.]

Where are you?

Ahuh! It's great! I've never had something so tasty! You're an amazing cook! You should make a shop or something.

[He means it too! Taking the bowl eagerly, he beams up at the god gratefully. Despite his size, Goten is nearly a bottomless pit when it comes to food. Archie had commented on it being weird but he never really questioned it. He just loved food! Of course he's chowing down again. Food, no matter how good, couldn't replace Archie but it was making him feel a bit better and taking his mind off the god for now. He really didn't know what to do about that---so focusing on eating seems like a good idea]

[Yay!]

[Sitting on the new cloud-friend, they're floating a high in the sky so to get a birds eye view of the beach. He doesn't know where she's coming from and the beach is pretty big and---There! Spotting her below, Goten perks up and hops off the cloud, dropping down.]

Sharak! Hey Sharak!

[He doesn't even land in the sand. Instead he swoops down and practically flies into her]

[Sharak looks around when she lands on the sand and then up, because that's the logical place to look for Goten. When he swoops down into her she automatically raises her hands to catch him.]

Hey, Goten. [Sharak puts a hand on his head and looks him up and down to make sure he's okay. Hm, all in one piece, not fading out of existence without a name... Good.]

[sonofson]

[He laughs when she catches him. He totally wasn't trying to tackle her into the sand, nope. But still, it's clear he's happy to see the god again. Today has been long, he's tired and all his searching has left him with full stomach but empty handed. It's a bit dissappointing and just reaffirming what everyone else has told him. Others have informed him Archie is no longer in the world but it's still hard to accept. He doesn't want to accept it.]

You did get here super fast! I didn't have to wait at all.

[He grins at her. He's completely fine. Other then the name missing from the top of his right hand, nothing seems different.]

[It doesn't hurt to check. There's also his emotional state to consider, but despite everything... Goten seems like a resilient kid. Sharak approves. She'll just hold him with one arm and ruffle his hair with her other hand.]

One of the few benefits to this whole arrangement. Teleportation. [Sure beats traveling by horse drawn carts.] Do you want to go back the same way?

[He grins a bit more at that. Though the spiky stubborn locks of hair fall right back into place. Really his hair could be a creature of it's own. He feels a bit more at ease now though. He had planned to stay the night on the beach but somehow staying with Sharak does sound better. He didn't want to be alone anyway.]

Sure, whatever works better for you. I never really teleported that much before.

[He tilts his head up and waves up to the yellow cloud in the sky, calling up to it. It doesn't have a name but it seems to respond anyway for the most part by drifting down to them. Though his dark eyes do scan the beach over, just one last time. Just in case. He can't feel Archie anyway but still...and unsurprisingly they are the only two people on the beach.]

[Sharak watches Goten looking out at the beach.]

... He knows he can call you, right? If he does reappear here.

[So Goten doesn't have to worry about not being here if he does.]

[He blinks and looks back to Sharak. It takes him a moment to understand what she's saying. At least until he realizes she picked up on what he was looking around quickly for.]

Y-yeah! I mean, I think so....he should, right? He'd probably show up on the network too and I think I'd be able to feel him. Sorta like you and everyone else.

[He can't really explain 'feeling' part of it but Sharak is right. But he couldn't help but take at least one more look. He smiles at her though.]

[He's late to the conversation; he knows this. Still recovering from his own ordeal, it's a punch to the gut to see someone he likes suddenly turning on such a message. Reading and listening through the other conversations branching off the video, Sousuke tries his best not to let his stomach fall, but unfortunately, he's a theory-based guy who doesn't see the world through rose-colored glasses (unlike some others he knows).

But at the same time, how can he be so blunt as to say what others have said and what Goten honestly doesn't want to or need to hear? It's not like the kid's lacking in brains. Curious, saddened, worried, any of those things Goten's probably feeling right now. But to give him a false sense of hope? Sousuke's not sure what he should do in this moment. After all, he doesn't know the workings of this place either. Whether Archie's gone or simply out for a while and might come back... How do the gods above gods work?

Like a shinki would know.

Ultimately, he finally clicks on the feed, revealing the sweeping sakura grove out front before the screen flips past it and settles on Sousuke looking into the screen. He sets the camera down on the window sill before taking a seat on a nearby chair (sitting on it backwards because rebel).]

Goten... What have you found out?

Thanks. I thought about it... a long time ago. [ Well, it feels like a long time ago, anyway. But now he was focused on being a god. And before then, on working for Yuuko, and then... well. He couldn't remember much before then. ]

Eat up. I know you're been working hard trying to find your god. [ He took his seat across from him. ] If the temple is gone, do you have a place to stay until then?

[razzledazzles]

Even if I can't find a cloud friend of my own, I'd love to meet yours some time.

Have you been doing well, Goten?

[ Huh. So it IS a cloud. Now that, she wasn't expecting. There's a nod of her head back in greeting. ]

The pleasure is all mine, Goten. I am Kuroyukihime... but some have taken to calling me just 'Hime' so that will do.

[ And folding her arms behind her back as she stares out into the ocean. ]

This beach... is there any significance to it? Or is this where Archie's temple was once?

Ku-ro-yu-ki-hi-me. [He starts it out slow, of course when he acutally does try to say it he gets a bit tongue tied. There are a lot of syllables there, geez. He laughs a little, apologically before his smile is back and he puts his hands together and gives a quick small bow.]

Hime! Got it!

[He straights and follows her gaze briefly.]

Archie's temple use to be over there in the cliff side!

[He points to it, of course there's nothing there but the cliff now.]

It was pretty big too so it's really strange to see it not there anymore...

You don't even have to ask! You can met us anytime!

[Clearly he's excited too, all things aside.]

Mmhm! Besides Archie going missing everything has been great. I still haven't gotten to take on any ayakashi though. What about you? I haven't seen you in a while!

[He blinks at the video, squinting a bit as the sakura come into view. He doesn't even need to see who it is before his eyes light up. Who else is always around sakura?]

Sousuke!

[He grins full-heartedly. Sousuke is still around, that's super good! He didn't doubt that the older shinki was but with Archie gone now, Goten is more worried about everyone else he cares about. But there he is, sitting and talking to him. Goten a bit relieved to see him to, his shoulders drop a little bit as he settles down. After the post Sousuke made about that jerk god that's another thing that concerns Goten about his safety.]

Um, everyone is saying Archie is gone. That it happens sometimes to shinki and gods. But it might be a good thing cause he might have gone back to where ever he's from. If that's true then I think Archie is probably happier.

[He spoke about Pokemon and stuff a lot. It was clear that he missed his world despite his cool god powers. If that really is true, Goten is happy for him. But that's the problem to, no one knows for sure. If there was just some way to know, then it would make the boy rest a little more easy. He lifts up his right hand to show the name missing from it. The skin is clear like it was never there.]

My name is gone too. Hakkai said I gotta find a new god or I might end up with someone random. Sharak is gonna let me stay with her until I figure out what I wanna do.

[But enough about him, he leans closer to the screen]

What about you Sousuke? How have you been?

[secrowtary]

You sure can. Just don't stay here for too long completely alone.

[Technically, with the cloud following him, he won't be alone anywhere he goes, but...]

Of course, take your time. Choosing a proper name is important, after all.

[Goten's offer, though...now, that's surprising.]

Ride it? [Discreetly eyeing it up.] I wonder if it's a good idea, I mean...aren't I too, well, big?

[There's a smile in Hakkai's voice, and a click as he hangs up.]

Wonderful. A later day, maybe!

I admit I've been relaxing, so when I'm not at the temple I'm soaring around. I've been doing quite well, really.

[She's not sure that Archie can possibly be okay and she doesn't want to lie to Goten but ugh poor guy shouldn't have to deal with any of this, yet sure enough his name is gone.]

[She starts walking outside because that gets some nervous energy out.]
