[ The video turns on showing Zero in a dark room inside his temple. A quiet look falls across his eyes as he faces the camera. He's not one to speak to people let alone about himself but after his encounter with Sheryl, he has no choice. He knows what happened even if he can't remember it. He lost control. ]

My name is Zero Kiryuu and I was here before as a shinki.

[ A pause as he squares his shoulders to face his crimes. ]

I need to know if I killed someone.

They took my memories when I was brought back as a god but that doesn't erase my crimes. I need to know what happened. What I did.

I won't let this go.

[ OOC: He doesn't know he died, he simply assumes his loss of memories is due to the whole turning a shinki into a god deal. Some kind soul, please spring that up on him. Also, for any future in-action meet ups Zero will mysteriously have some pomegranate fruit/seeds on him at all times. If you eat them you'll be sentenced (only if you want!) to stay one night at his temple before the seeds effects let them escape! ]

[ Another he doesn't recognize. He's quiet for a moment, his eyes straying to her. The green hair, eyes... why... why can't he remember any of it?! ]

.... I remember. Being a shinki. A feeling of-- [ He shakes his head. ]

How kind of you to take accountability for your actions.

Though, I'm not sure if all of the victims you've fed from might not entirely be willing to approach you.

I'm not looking for forgiveness.

[ The temple looked like it had better days. He could only assume what could possibly have happened to such a thing after all. He was staring at it mindlessly, quietly, taking in the surrounding area once he found it. It should be the right place.

He couldn't afford to be careless now thus he as completely stiff and guarded. There's no telling what will happen if he slips up. With all the given information he's learned lately, it's hard to relax. In fact, he's more than just a bit peeved by everything that has happened.

Once he catches sight of the figure moving up the steps from the corner of his eyes, he makes his way towards them, clearly with more than just questions on his mind. He's lost, confused. He needs answers and the more he wants them the more frustrating it becomes. He has no memories. He can't recall anything but he wants to. ]

[ A hint of air is all that filters through. There's someone there, but he won't push so he waits until-- ]

.....

[ They spoke as if they knew him. Knew what he'd done, then-- ]

Glad for what?

Then what are you looking for?

[ He had ]

[ Done all... ]

[ ... that. ]

I am glad that... even though you have returned with no memories...

You are still... you. [ How else could he explain such a thing? And how did he start to explain everything he wanted to tell him? ]

[ His throat tightens as he stares down at the words recounting his crimes. How far had he fallen that he'd take blood from an innocent.

A human.

His eyes begin to glisten but no tears fall. He swallows back the guilt, the self-deprecation, everything before it threatens to overwhelm him and swallow him whole. Now wasn't the time for them.

Later.

But not now. Now he had to face what he did. ]

Death?

I do not know how many you attacked. But there have been no reports of any deaths among our community from a vampire, so take any comfort you can from that.

[There's the temptation to let Zero know how upset Sanae had been, that Zero had facilitated Sanae's deep grief and sorrow, causing her emotional pain and heartache.

But that would just be pouring salt onto the open wound. As tempting as it is, it would be a low blow.]

It's not kindness.

[ A blunt statement closely followed by: ]

[ But he still needed to try. ]

[ The moment he catches sight of him everything stops. His legs, muscles, heart, breath. ]

[ He stares at the figure of his long dead brother and tears gather as grief strikes, stabbing deep into his heart creating a fissure that threatens to break it apart. And he loses his breath, the water distorting the vision above and it's all he can do to keep still in fear of shattering the illusion of-- ]

[ A statement, not a question. ]

Facts.

They don't change just because we choose to ignore them.

[ Those eyes... they stared directly at him yet he didn't understand why they were so fixated on him in general. He didn't remember anything and even if he tried there was nothing he could do to trigger any of his memories. At least not right now.

How did one get their memories back and why did he have to be the one lacking in that information. When the person in front of him breaks down, he can only stare at him in sudden surprise, his eyes almost widening slightly at the sight playing in front of him.

He doesn't understand why there are tears in this person's eyes and the way they recognized him is more than enough of an answer for him. They knew who he was. He said his name so casually, yet he didn't... get it. ]

So, it's true. You do know something about me.

[ Ichiru stops right in front of him, and looks at him. Even if the person is a few inches taller than him it's not intimidating at all. He grabs him square by the collar of his clothes. ]

Tell me what you know.

[ It's extremely difficult for him to even explain how he feels right now. There's so many emotions erupting inside of him but the one that's clearly visible is his desperation for the answers he seeks. ]

When you were a... shinki. [ A pause. ] I am a shinki, though it seems you have become a god and... and left me behind.

[ A blow he might not have recovered from. As it stands, Zero can barely move past his initial recount of his crimes. It sounded like he'd fallen to his bloodlust, become a Level E. But then... how was he here now? Falling to a Level E was a death sentence. ]

I'll abide by your request.

Fact: You hurt a lot of people, hurt [ He pauses, a friend? Maybe...] someone I know. That doesn't change. Whether you remember that or not.

Know that my lady bears no ill will towards you, and that she still considers you a dear friend.

[Her shinki isn't as forgiving, and undoubtedly Sanae will be feeling her shinki's simmering dislike and anger wherever she may be.]

I'm not sure. I met him...on the fifth or the sixth? But it might have been before that.
