I am looking for someone experienced with programming and technology.
[Attachment: COMP.jpg. That... looks like a certain handheld console.]
When I woke up this morning, there’s gift box with a COMP inside for me. The menu and features inside are different from what I know it should do. However, I’m not knowledgeable or skilled about technology to examine this.
Please contact me if you would like to help. As for payment, we can negotiate in person.

No, I don't think it's a secret. [Maybe? She doesn't know anything about THIS COMP.] All COMPs have programming codes inside. Do you know what I mean by "code"?
no subject
I guess not!
No idea at all!
no subject
Do you want to know about it?
[Does she need to go into exposition mode or not?]

I don't really understand how most stuff works here, anyway.
I just push the buttons and hope it goes okay.
I think I made a DVD player mad once.

It usually depends on the object.
Some things are relatively easier to understand, but most of them generally comes with an instruction manual.
How did you make a DVD player mad? By pushing buttons?
no subject
So either it was angry or hungry, I'm not sure.
no subject
My knowledge about such things is only very general. [Like, enough to do things without slamming the buttons.] Someone with more technical knowledge may know what's happening.

You don't think it wanted to eat a disc?
no subject
It reads the disc, not eat it. They read from the discs to see what kind of information they can display.

They're inside the disc. You could say they are very small words.
no subject
It eats it to read it but the words are too small to see and then it uses them to make pictures?
My head hurts.

Just take your time to slowly understand and learn about it, if you still wish to know.
