Attention, everyone! Stop whatever you're doing right now because this is 10x more important! Consider this a special PSA from Sheryl Nome.

Chocolates are supposed to be a symbol of love and commitment, right? That's what I always believed. Before arriving here, I learned they come in two forms:
a gift between two lovers, or romantic chocolate
a gift between two friends, or courtesy chocolate

But now I learned there is a third form: chocolate assigned to us for delivery by a group of the most unprofessional, incompetent idiots!

Recently I asked that same group of idiots a few questions about a certain incident. Why was there no warning labels on these chocolates? Why were the people who ate them suddenly the targets of these ugly monsters?

Do you want to know what they said? I'll summarize that for you in three words: "we didn't know."

Who the hell do they think they're talking to?! I can't take this level of idiocy!

the government? oh, they can be so annoying and tricky! saying one thing and doing the opposite

For us it was mostly a case of being promised money and then being given it small chunks at a time.

[The life and times of a teacher in the public school system. ... not that private schools were necessarily any better, but at least there was less red tape.]

greedy AND frivolous! this is completely uncalled for

if someone promises you lots of money and then don't deliver, then it's their fault and should be punished for it!

To be fair, money is tight for every other government office too...

[Except perhaps a few specific ones but Elsa will not go into that. It doesn't even matter anymore, yikes.]

Political commentators and fiscal watchdogs publicly shame them. Or try to.

aaaah politics is too complicated for me. i'm not into such things

let me guess, try to unless they get censored by the media, right?

Unfortunately, public employees have no choice but to be at least somewhat knowledgeable about politics, at least at the local level.

Oh, no, censorship is illegal in our country. But even so, there's only so much an article or a radio show will do. If people aren't educated on a subject, then a politician can spin a story a certain way and still have people believe them and vote for them, or vote to cut local school budgets.

i'm sorry you had to deal with that. people should be using their power to help others like you, not just waste it all on personal gain...

they say ignorance is bliss. i suppose this fits, too

Yeah, it seems that way. Except for how I'd really like to know if Heaven knew what was in the chocolates or not. If they didn't, then that's fine, it's not their fault. But if they knew, then...

i want to believe that they just failed to check the chocolates, i really do. as much i don't like them... they don't seem the kind to hurt anyone on purpose

they have to. they actually worked against the ayakashi, Miss Randall. it's amazing!

you're better off confronting them personally like i did. it's better because at least they can't brush you off so easily

That is amazing! I'd definitely welcome some music at the school, if you'd like to teach or perform.

Well, it can't hurt to try, at least. In any case, I'm sure they know we're discontent already.

it would be foolish of them if they ignore our concerns. that's not what pros do
