So how does a vampire turn people into new vampires anyway? I thought it was just biting people in the first place.

Really, making new vampires serves very little purpose. No one wants a sentient predator in the same vein as themselves with the ability to gain their power, but a zombie is particularly useful!

In any case, this just sounds like a young vampire being an idiot rather than anything particularly sinister. [Not like him, right? He'd never do something like randomly attack bystanders. Anymore.]

I doubt most of us could turn into zombies because we're already dead.

We've been decomposing for weeks or months already. And when gods die, they reincarnate.

Well, if that is what you think, by all means. I for one won't rule it out until it's tested.

There will be, if the vampire in question isn't somehow brought to heel. [He's not worried. He wouldn't be attacked by a vampire, and if he was he certainly had nothing to worry about from it.

And he's even less worried about someone threatening him as well. In fact, that plants a defiant little seed in Dio's mind, though it's nothing serious for the time being.]
