Well that was a downer.

Anyone have any good recipes? I wanna try making some snacks, but I don't have much in my repertoire. I think we could all go for something sweet

What are you looking for?

I don't really know. I like cake, but I haven't really tried a huge variety of foods since I got here.

I just learned how to make ice cream. And I can bake okay, I'll see if I can write something down.

I definitely haven't had that yet. Maybe I can mix that with stuff too

I've collected quite a few dessert recipes that I'd be happy to share. Do you cook much?

I've tried making a couple things this past week, but nothing super complicated.

Oh in that case, we could try a few different things? [Did he just invite himself over?] There's many Japanese sweets that are kind of complicated if you make them completely from scratch but it's also easy to buy many of the parts now a days and people will still be impressed.

What kind of sweet are you trying to make?
Something decadent or on the lighter side?

Nothing in particular? Just want to try some things.

I guess light? Light sounds reasonable.

What about a strawberry shortcake?
Not the kind with the biscuit-type cake though.
The kind with liquid glucose to make it spongy.
I know a great recipe for it. And there's even a video
I found on YouTube that is a good representation.
Though I think it would call for a bit more sugar for the cake.
Still good, though.
