Seeing as we're from different times and places (at least that's what I think), I'd like to ask if anyone can tell me anything about this sword. (see enclosed attachment)
It just showed up in my room today, stuck in a stone. I also might need some help getting it out. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Here. It looks to be western. Definitely a saber. At least that's what Google tells me. Does it look familiar?

[ He holds it up, one hand gripping the sheath, the other gripping the handle. He makes to attempt to pull the sword from the sheath but it doesn't budge save for a few blue sparks. ]
Either magic or some sort of security system.

It makes me think I was though. I'd say either military... or a really rich cosplayer.
