I think we're still waiting for more clues for who is behind this, even though whoever-they-are went and did such a bold attack as that fire.
As for incidents... There was the massive ayakashi attack on Feb 24, just as some new gods and shinki showed up. It could have been coincidence, but the longer this goes on, the more suspicious it looks. Although I have no idea how you could get ayakashi to coordinate like that.
The chocolate thing was on Mar 15. If someone was out to discredit Amaterasu-sama by that, they did a good job.
All the other times the new guys showed up, it wasn't anything too unusual going on. We helped with a boat festival and took down a weirdly large ayakashi in a school. There was also the first cherry blossom viewing.
As for the fire and "Down with the Heavens! Down with Amaterasu!"... Heaven has done some things that I can't agree with, but I still think that we'll have to all work together to get anything solved. I have no idea who would benefit the most from all this mess.
