[Have a video, people of the Far Shore, because typing this out would take too long. Judar is patient enough to do his make-up for this, but not enough to keep typing out every single response.]

My shinki is broke or something. She keeps leaking her feelings everywhere. Somebody tell me how to get her to shut it off.

[He gestures to the girl next to him, who looks incredibly uncomfortable with the topic. Apparently, his patience doesn’t extend to his shinki, either… A single day of knowing how she feels was enough to sink that ship.]

I’m not dealing with this every day!

[Jennifer glances to Judar, her expression apologetic.] I-- I'm sorry. I really will try to do better...

[Someone, please help what is possibly the worst god-shinki match in history avoid blighting each other.]

((OOC: Both Judar and Jennifer will be responding!))

You put her in a publicly humiliating situation and called her "broken" just because her feelings aren't pleasant or convenient for you. It doesn't seem to occur to you that, shinki or not, no one's feelings are yours to control.

[He takes a drag from his cigarette, because damn, he needs to right now.]

Did you bother asking even the most basic questions when the heavens' representatives explained your situation? There's a reason we have a connection to our shinki's emotions. Gods native to this world have no concept of what it's like to live as a human or of right and wrong, and their shinkis' feelings serve as a way of helping them understand humanity -- I can't say the same is true for most of the new gods, but from the way you've been acting, it looks like you could use a bit of a refresher on that, anyway.

Beyond that, it's our duty, in exchange for their service, to make sure they're well taken care of. Their feelings tell us when there's a problem we should be addressing. If you're not working well together outside of battle, it'll be a pain in the ass to use her effectively when you do fight -- and if you keep allowing her to be miserable, you're just going to get yourself blighted.
