[Have a video, people of the Far Shore, because typing this out would take too long. Judar is patient enough to do his make-up for this, but not enough to keep typing out every single response.]

My shinki is broke or something. She keeps leaking her feelings everywhere. Somebody tell me how to get her to shut it off.

[He gestures to the girl next to him, who looks incredibly uncomfortable with the topic. Apparently, his patience doesn’t extend to his shinki, either… A single day of knowing how she feels was enough to sink that ship.]

I’m not dealing with this every day!

[Jennifer glances to Judar, her expression apologetic.] I-- I'm sorry. I really will try to do better...

[Someone, please help what is possibly the worst god-shinki match in history avoid blighting each other.]

But it's fine for him to be emotional, isn't it? It isn't as though I can feel it like he can. If I can control my emotions better, it'll be better for both of us, right?

You're in a partnership, not servitude. That calls for equality on even ground and a working respect for each other. If he orders you to seal away your emotions that only means he should do the same. Don't be so timid in demanding your own terms.

But if I get too demanding, what am I supposed to do if he throws me away?

Find someone who doesn't act like an infant and have them name you. Don't consider it being "thrown away". If his immaturity continues, it's not your fault he can't adjust.

The first shinki is supposed to be someone who guides their god. If I can't do that with even one, then what good am I to anyone else?

I don't think I know if I could face another god if I can't even handle the one I was assigned to.

Who told you that? Don't believe such nonsensical explanations. It leads you to misinterpreting the situation. You're not one of those archangels leading a saint to good deeds. You're not there to babysit. It's the god's job to nurture.

Of course you are. There's no true answer in life, only the ones you set. Pick the advice you think will leave you with least regrets.

No, I'm a god. Well, a goddess. Well, I'm not sure it makes much of a difference.

Don't rely on hope. It's useless. If you want it, chase after it. You're perfectly capable. Everyone is.

And no, I don't think so. The value of it is plain as day. It's a beautiful miracle that inspires and rebinds broken souls. But in the end, that's all it does. There's no future hope alone can bring you. It's useless in the face of the reality we live in.

Active pursuit, conquering challenges, failing and learning—living and working through life is the only true way to improve.
