[Action; Locked to Hajime]

[Yuuki hasn't been a shinki nearly as long as some. But even she can realize when things are very, very wrong.

The room she awakens in is not her own, and that much is clear right away. Already confused by her new location, she is immediately informed that this is where she belongs now; that she is the shinki of Neith, not Freya.

It's enough to terrify her.

It had all happened so abruptly, she has no time to even try to begin to understand. Why the change? And how? Did she do something wrong? Was Bo okay?

Had she somehow failed as a shinki?

By the time Hajime meets with Yuuki, she isn't the cheerful, enthusiastic girl Hajime has seen so often. Instead, her head is tipped down, hands clenched at her sides as she practically exudes waves of fear, anxiety, and insecurity.

No. This isn't right. This isn't how it's supposed to be.

Is it?]

I don't serve Bo anymore I'm one of Hajimes shinki now.

I just woke up in her shrine all of a sudden and I don't know why

Bo where are you?? Has anyone seen her recently???

I don't understand. What happened???? Is this normal??

[That comes as a surprise to her. Tsuzuki did mention something about being a transfer god, but he didn't say anything about not being a god at all. In fact, he talked about being quite a specific type...

But then Hajime says things that are much more pressing and urgent in her mind, and she gives a very small nod. She's quickly calming down thanks to Hajime's reassurances, but replacing the panic is grief, simple as that.]

...I hope we can. Nobody's ever said anything about something like this happening.

[Granted, they haven't exactly been here long, but it's the type of thing she feels would have come up by now.

If this is the first case of it... How are they supposed to go from there?]

[That grief isn't a fun experience for either of them. But Hajime doesn't give up]

We're bound to hit bumps, you know? No one knows everything. Even gods@ I don't know where Bo-san is...I can't see her thread anymore but I don't think that means she's in trouble or anything. We'll figure it out somehow Yuuki-chan! But you can stay with me, here as long as you like too. We'll need to get you some decorations for your room--whenever you feel up to it!

[Hajime gives her a smile as she messily ruffles the shinki's hair before pulling her into another big hug.]

[Even as she's embraced, her head tips down a bit. There's so much to take in... It's going to be a bit until her emotions completely settle.

This. This is why she never fooled herself into thinking she was strong. Even if she's excitable, she feels so much, it's hard to keep a handle on it all the time. And while that may be well and good when things are positive...

Well, just take a look at her now. How is she supposed to grapple with feelings like this?

As it is, it takes a bit for her to get her head back into the conversation, and even then her response is slow.]

...Decorations?

Decorations! You know....cuter curtains, things you like hanged up on the wall--oh we can paint the walls too! Get lots of things to make this place way more fun then it is. It'll be a room for you, Yuuki-chan. Your room to put whatever you want, how ever you want.

[She she talks she gestures around the room. Pointing this way and that before finally grabbing onto both of Yuuki's hands]

You have skilled hands too, you know? You made super cute origami with my Yuuki, I'm sure you can make this room sparkle with you!

[...That...

That sounds like a lot.]

Isn't it too much? [The paint, the decorations, all of it - someone would have to pay for that, and it isn't as though she's got a job.]

Hmm? No way. I mean, it's your room, Yuuki-chan, you can do whatever you want. Even the sky isn't the limit, you know?

[Money isn't that much of an issue, but even if it was Hajime would still be pushing for this]

Doesn't it cost money, though? I don't have a job. And it's not fair if you have to pay for everything...

[Food, decorations, comforts like that - they're still comforts in the end, and she doesn't want to demand too much when they're all so unnecessary.]

I don't care about that! We're friends and I want you to have your own place here. No matter happens you'll always have a room here. A place that just screams when you walk in 'This is Yuuki's place', you know? I'm still working on mine too!

[Even when they found Bo, there would always be a room for Yuuki. It's imporant to have your own space and a place to call your own.]

Besides! We can do it together if you want! Decorating and finding what you like is really fun.

[But.]

I... I don't remember if I've ever decorated before.

[...Okay, that excuse sounds weak even to her.]

Then I'll help you! It's even more fun that way.

[She's so stubborn!! But in a selfless way. It's adorable. Hajime doesn't know what to do with her. She just wants to smother Yuuki in hugs]

Yuuki-chan, don't sorry so much about it! Okay? I want to have fun with you.

[It's hard to keep arguing with that...]

...Okay, I'll decorate too. But I'm serious! Don't spend too much money on it. Or... Or let me help earn it, too!

YAYYYYYY!

[Hajime throws her arms into the air in victory! It's a sweet victory, one she will share the spoils with Yuuki. She has to make sure Yuuki has a good time now. She wants to see that bright smile again. No matter how long it takes or what she has to do. Yuuki deserves to be happy]

You got it! It's not expensive if you throw in D-I-Y! It's more fun that way too!

[once again she throws her arms around Yuuki and squishes her fondly]

YuuuukiYuukiYuuki-chan~!!!

[And so she is squished. It takes her a second, but she does eventually hug Hajime back. The negative feelings are finally starting to subside, even if she's still the tiniest bit melancholy.]

D-I-Y... Like building shelves?

[Why is that the first thing to come to mind? Who knows.]

[Hajime giggles once she notices Yuuki hugging her back. She continues to squeeze her and even nuzzles her cheek against Yuuki's hair]

Squuueeeeezzzeee~!

[Squeeze out all those negative feelings! She does let go after a second. She doesn't want to overwhelm Yuuki too much or squeeze her to death. But Hajime's smile is big and her pale brown eyes are glowing with excitement.]

Sort of! Do it yourself~! When you do something yourself it makes it more yours! Your style, ya know? Decorating can be hard work but its fun work!

[It's a good thing it's impossible to squeeze the life out of a dead person (probably). The squeezing is yet another surprise, but she settles into the embrace quickly enough, even if it's not as tight as Hajime's.]

Well... I'll give it a try!

[That's the least she can do.]

[Hajime beams sweetly at her.]
