[ Slowly, she shakes her head. ]

... I don't think it is. Something important like that bracelet.... it's not something someone like Ventus would just leave laying around, right...?

[oathkeeper]

[He nods at her, smiling brighter again.]

Yeah, that's right. We talked about those friendship bracelets when we first met, and Axel got them for him and Roxas to tell them apart.

[He chuckles,] He probably wanted to leave me with it because I was the only one that didn't get one, Axel that dummy!

[Which was fine, he wasn't actually mad at Axel. He didn't think he looked like Roxas and Ventus at all contrary to everyone else's opinions.]

[chainbroke]

[ Oh, good. Naminé is glad to see him in better spirits. A smile definitely suits him. ]

Maybe he would make one for you, if you asked him?

[oathkeeper]

[The kettle starts to whistle and he takes it off the stove and turns off the heat.]

Maybe I will! I think I'm gonna keep Ventus' bracelet for sure too. It's a nice reminder. I hope he's okay wherever he went!

[Because even though he feels like Ventus is gone, he doesn't feel...gone gone. If that made any sense in his head.]

I hope so, too. I wish I could have gotten to know him more...

[ She looks at the different mixes; there's raspberry, salted caramel, vanilla, amaretto... ]

Which kind would you like? I think I'll try the salted caramel.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora pulls down two mugs for them, a blue one and a red one. He places them on the counter and looks over the mixes that Naminé brought.]

Ummm, let's go with vanilla!

[He takes that one and starts to open it up.] How've you been though?

[It wasn't fair for him to talk about him and Ventus the whole time, after all.] Can you believe we've been here for a bit over a month now?

[chainbroke]

Okay.

[ She puts a bit of the salted caramel mix into her cup.

... She hasn't thought about that, actually, so she thinks for a few long moments. ]

It's been... wonderful, actually. I'm much happier here than I ever thought I had any right to...

[oathkeeper]

[He puts his mix into the his cup and fills both mugs with steaming hot water. He pulls out spoons for them too.

Her comment makes him grin. It was true and he agreed. Sure he missed Kairi more than anything and missed Donald and Goofy too, but here... Here, Naminé could be happy. Roxas could exist on his own. Axel could start over. Riku Replica could have the sense of life he never got to experience before.

They all deserved that.] You've always had the right to be happy, don't be silly!

[chainbroke]

[ Naminé takes one of the spoons, smiling as she stirs. It's still something she doesn't believe--that sh's had the right to be happy. Because certainly, in Castle Oblivion, she'd never been anything more than a witch. ]

Sora... you're so kind. I'm glad we're friends.

[oathkeeper]

Me too, Naminé. Sometimes I feel like being here is better for everyone.

[Even in a way, Riku was probably happier too. Even if he didn't remember him and things probably would never go back to the way they were... Riku didn't have to worry about anything aside from being happy here. And even Data-Roxas had a life and friends here that he shouldn't have to ever give up.]

I know someday I'll have to find a way to leave and finish what I was doing but I hope you all can just be happy here.

[chainbroke]

[ She takes a sip of her cocoa--it's good--and falls quiet for a little while. Is it... really okay, for her to be here? Apart from Kairi? She's a vital part of Kairi, on some level--as far as Naminé is concerned, she's only there to complete her. In rejoining Kairi, she'll be whole, too.

But... she's far more worried about Kairi. ]

... Mm. I think we all have things we need to do... but I really, really like this place.

[ It's... not okay for her to be so selfish, right? ]

[oathkeeper]

[Had Naminé voiced those thoughts Sora would have went on a tangent about how she deserved to be her own person separate from Kairi and that Roxas and him were a prime example of that here. It was possible somehow and it was okay. It didn’t need to be any more complicated than that.]

It’s okay to like this place. I really like it too. I got weird family members and lots of new friends. It’s pretty neat! Did you know there’s a whole bunch of you moon goddesses too?

[He takes a gulp of his hot chocolate, accidently burning his tongue a bit and winces.]

[chainbroke]

Oh, be careful!

[ Sora, don't burn your mouth off... ]

I don't think I knew that, actually... A lot of people must admire the moon, if there are so many.

[oathkeeper]

[He waves it off dramatically.] I'm good! I'm good!

Yeah must be. It kind of nice though, having those weird connections.

[chainbroke]

G-good!

[ Sora... ]

I'd like to meet them. [ But... would they want to meet her? ]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora rubs his chin, pondering.] We should try to get all of you together sometime! It's important you all stick together.

[He was rather close with his god-father, Leo. The connections might not mean anything to their current lives but it was nice to have.]

[chainbroke]

Is it?

[ ... Teach her, Sora! ]

[oathkeeper]

[He smiles, taking a sip (a more careful one) of his hot chocolate.]

Yeah! Because then you'll have some buddies that understand you the same, you know? You all have the moon in common so there's got to be something special there. Like a mini family!

[At least that's how he saw it!]

My god-father Leo looks out for me a lot. It's the same thing, you could look out for each other.

[chainbroke]

Oh! That does sound nice... Maybe I'll look for them, then.

[ Hmm. ]

I can't do very much... if they were the ones to look out for me, then...

[oathkeeper]

What do you mean? You can do plenty! You're one of the smartest people I know!

[Or...Did she mean in terms of fighting? ...lightbulb.]

Hey... I never asked... What's Riku's vessel?

[chainbroke]

[ One of the smartest... oh, wow. She's blushing a little! ]

His-- oh, um. It's his Keyblade.

[oathkeeper]

Perfect!

[Sora grins, slapping the counter with his palm.]

I'll help you guys train, how does that sound? I bet Riku is a lousy teacher anyway!

[Not true, he was probably the best teacher being a master and all. But being able to spar with someone was always helpful. Especially another keyblade wielder who knew what he was doing!]

[chainbroke]

Oh, he's not too bad--

[ Oh, right, a joke. Naminé blushes a little. ]

But... I wouldn't mind learning from you, too.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora knows Naminé doesn't have much fighting experience but he knows it would be fun to help her out. He has confidence in her.]

That’s great. With the two of us helping, you’ll be ready to kick butt in no time.

[chainbroke]

[ How did she get so lucky... ]
