I hear I am ignorant and stuff so, anyone know any movies and other play box things that I should look into?

Also music, got any tips on that?

How do you people even find stuff like that to know anyway, by the way?

I mostly go on youtube and search for things I'm interested in or want to know more about. I've been enjoying cooking channels and woodworking videos lately.

Most other recommendations come from my coworkers. I'm sure they'd be happy to suggest things to you too. Otherwise it's seeing what's new or popular and checking it out.

Youtube? Miss Ginia, I don't have any tubes on me, but how do you know which ones are the ones you will like? Do you find the big ones and crawl into them? Or is it in the water or the cupboards?

YouTube is a website people post videos at. Like the BBS system but with way more animal videos. Way more everything videos.

Definitely. When you come by the office, ask anyone around to show you things on YouTube. And music sites, there are lots of good sites for music.

Mostly entertainment, sometimes education? There's a lot of nonsense on there, but some pretty informative things on there. We use the site a lot in the tourism department. Putting up videos of an area is a good way to get people to come and visit.

I use youtube, but also websites like Spotify. A lot of local radio broadcasting sites since I need to stay on top of what's popular too.

Spotify doesn't sound like a word. So these radio broadcasting sites things are knowledgeable about that?

It's definitely something easier to show than explain over text.

What's your baseline for technology? Sorry, I'm so used to tech I forget that's not the case for everyone.

I have been learning that a lot of things can be like that here.

Umm... I have figured out the stoves here at this point, but they are supposed to be firewood reliant. Electricity in general isn't supposed to be a thing.

Radio broadcasts are like the BBS, but voice only. Like how each post is a different topic, you have 'stations' that focus on a specific thing. Some stations only play one genre of music, other stations cover only news.

For the specifics of how radio broadcasts work, it's a bit beyond me. A lot of people in the agriculture department listen to the radio fairly often, you can definitely learn more asking around.

Huh. I see. I think I get it. What a weird thing, sounds sort of amusing.

I'll do that, then. Maybe they'll have some tips on how to learn more that's useful for my job, too, and not just for fun. I mean, maybe there even is an agriculture centered station.

There are definitely agriculture stations. Part of the way the department stays informed.

I am! It's not like what I'm used to here or in the memories I have from before, so it's extra fun that way!

I feel the same way. I know office work isn't everyone's thing and I definitely enjoy going out for prayers more, but it's nice making good things happen.

Yeah, being out and about and doing things that involves movement is the best, but I do suppose that sometimes you need to do things in other ways too.
