Um.. hey!

[ Although Minako smiles, there's something a bit muted about her. If not just for the fact that the volume of her voice currently isn't rupturing your eardrums right away with the greeting. ]

I thought I should let everyone know, since a lot of people know her.. But it's probably going to be difficult to reach Zelda for a while. Because she's asleep! And, you know, not just "doesn't want to get up in the morning" asleep. More like.. "sudden spring hibernation" sleep? Which is something that.. sometimes happens, I guess!

[ It's fine. This is fine. It's fine! See, she's smiling. Totally cool. ]

I guess.. until she wakes up, I'm going to try and take care of Metis temple affairs. [ Sure, Natsuru is there too, but Minako is the Exemplar! Not to mention Minako does have a natural leader sense - despite her lack of memories - and a huge sense of responsibility. It comes natural to try and take the whole world on her shoulders if needed. ] So if you need anything.. just let me know instead!

You would not believe how much practice I'm getting at that. I'm going to be the world's best person at stopping Saber and Suzaku from idiocy. It's a niche role but an important one!

You're not having too hard a time at your temple, right? [ Just going to 100% focus on his potential problems instead in order to ignore her own. That's the best way to deal with it, right. ]

No way! I'm fine. It's exhausting, but the guys are both good people. Don't worry about me!

Of course I'm going to worry about you. Maybe I should stop by your temple sometime after Zelda wakes up to make sure they're being nice enough to you.

[ Is Minako ready to scold full grown (or.. well, almost full grown) men over this? Yes. Yes, she's so ready. Even though she's lacking the usual energy at this moment.

They're plenty nice! Just handfuls at best. But sometimes energetic handfuls make for the best people to know, right?

[Though in terms of 'pain', Minako is usually much better than those two. USUALLY. Right now she's worse, with all her worries she won't voice and the emotions she hides!]

[ Sorry Edge, you just had to run into Minako's main bad quality that isn't as superficial as her just being Loud and Way Too Present. Especially since this is the one she's way more persistent about. ]

You think so? [ A question that's easy to mask as "do you really like those two that much" when it's actually "are you really glad to know me" at a moment when Minako feels at her most insecure. ]

[Edge is usually pretty good about catching that sort of underlying meaning from her, but in large part because they're just texting, he misses it this time.]

Sorry if I'm a little on the quiet side for a while. Things will be back to normal soon, I'm sure, so don't worry. [ Says the person who is worrying right this very moment. And who is not sure at all. ]

Saying 'don't worry' is like saying 'don't care', you know. The two go together! Like someone telling you 'don't be the best' is like telling you 'don't be Minako'!

[Edge knows better than to not say something serious, even lightly, without adding on a little playful compliment! That way she can pretend it's no big deal, but still get the message.]

I know you care either way, silly.

[ But maybe Minako doesn't realise just the full extent of how much her over the top "hey look guys I'm clearly and totally fine!!" act can make people worry. ]

I just have to watch over her until she wakes up.

And don't do anything that would make her sad when she wakes up, of course!

[HINT HINT, Minako. He's not gonna call her straight out on how putting her entire life on hold will make her goddess feel bad and guilty. Yet. Some subtlety first!]

[ She almost types to ask if she's ever done anything to make anyone sad, but.. yeah, then the awkward realisation hits her and she backspaces it at the speed of light before sending something else. ]

I never want to make her sad or make her worry about me. [ Or anyone else. It's just that Minako doesn't imagine dedicating your whole life to someone else and basing your identity on that falls into that category! ] I'll be happy again when she's awake either way. Then everything will go back to normal.

Just saying, she'll be less than pleased if you put your whole life on hold.

[Okay, slightly more direct callout. He has to take a moment to think of how to soften it slightly.]

After all, what if a love crisis occurred and we didn't have you to turn to?

[ But what is she supposed to do otherwise, Edge. :( Minako's whole existence is putting her own life on hold for others! ]

If anyone needs my help, they can just come to the temple or text me.. It's not like I'm dead. [ Or. You know. Extra dead. Dead again? More dead than she technically is now, considering she's a shinki. ] I just don't feel at ease leaving her alone like this.

Love crises don't come on a schedule, conveniently timed! Or even in the Far Shore alone!

Really, I get how you feel, but imagine yourself in the same position and I put my life on hold to hover over you. You'd wake up feeling guilty!
