Um.. hey!

[ Although Minako smiles, there's something a bit muted about her. If not just for the fact that the volume of her voice currently isn't rupturing your eardrums right away with the greeting. ]

I thought I should let everyone know, since a lot of people know her.. But it's probably going to be difficult to reach Zelda for a while. Because she's asleep! And, you know, not just "doesn't want to get up in the morning" asleep. More like.. "sudden spring hibernation" sleep? Which is something that.. sometimes happens, I guess!

[ It's fine. This is fine. It's fine! See, she's smiling. Totally cool. ]

I guess.. until she wakes up, I'm going to try and take care of Metis temple affairs. [ Sure, Natsuru is there too, but Minako is the Exemplar! Not to mention Minako does have a natural leader sense - despite her lack of memories - and a huge sense of responsibility. It comes natural to try and take the whole world on her shoulders if needed. ] So if you need anything.. just let me know instead!

You don't think she'll be just as confused with you standing over her looking panicked or relieved? "What happened?" will likely be her first words when she wakes up, no matter what!

So whether something's weird or not, if it eases your conscience a bit, I say go for it!

[ Honestly, it's hard to tell whether anything at all will ease Minako's consciousness.. If there's anything that can put her on edge, it's not being sure about the wellbeing of people she cares about. Especially her goddess, who she's supposed to protect!

But showing that? Nope, not allowed. Only positive emotions are allowed to be sent out into the world!! ]

H.. Hey, it's not like my conscience needs a lot of easing anyway! [ Says the girl who totally seems on edge beneath a slight layer of fake cheer. ] I just want to make sure she's alright is all...

But Minako, if you're trying to make sure that she's alright, then that means you're worried she's not. So if you'd like me to come over sometime and bring, I don't know, nail-polish and hair-styling things! We can hang out in the next room!

I'm not worried! [ Which clearly means she just has to overcompensate by fiercely denying the obvious. It's the Only Way. ] Geez...

[ Thankfully acting pouty about it isn't too hard when deeply upset has been your basic emotion all day to begin with. ]

[ Just sitting there means that Kairi's going to bring over food anyway. She figures if Minako were feeling better, she'd be up and moving around with her usual exuberance. ]

[ And at least Kairi coming over means that Minako has to move instead of sitting in a chair next to Zelda's bed like some sort of zombie! After all, even in her kind of out of it state she's aware enough of the situation to know that if she doesn't greet Kairi outside, the other girl is just going to have to fiddle with the puzzle door that no one ever manages to figure out.

So Minako actually gets out of the temple for the first time today. She's waiting for Kairi outside, squatting by the side of the koi pond and staring at the fish. It's easy to tell with even just one glance just how much more low energy she is compared to the usual. ]
