[So that was an awkward training session, huh guys? Good thing Oscar is choosing to ignore that right now. He has Farm Work to talk about.]

It's middle of March now, which means it's about time to start planting and things. When I posted a video last month, a lot of people seemed eager to help out so I was thinking in a week or so I'd host a potluck at my temple for anyone who wants to come out? You don't have to help plant, if you just want to come for the free food, but if you do come at least bring a dish.

I guess this is a sort of RSVP/announcement, if people want to do that.

Once, yes! I learned how to when I went on a prayer mission with my god. You may have to make sure that I'm doing it properly, though.

It's not too hard, but I'll help. The hardest part is usually figuring out spacing for the bigger crops, like melons. At least for me.

Hi, Terra. Honestly, anything would be fine so long as it feeds a lot of people and isn't pizza. Pizza kind of defeats the purpose of a potluck.

I've been wanting to work on expanding my gardening knowledge a bit - if I were to join in, would you be willing to offer guidance? I've heard it's easy to grow things on Far Shore land, but I'm sure the help of someone skilled would be valuable regardless!

I'll make sure to bring something good! If everyone's going to be working hard, then we'll need a lot of good food to keep ourselves going, after all.

If you'd like more help, I'd be happy to offer my services. Is planting the only thing you need to do, or do you need help preparing fields or tending to animals?

I could use some help with the fields...I don't have too many animals yet, just some sheep and horses. I'm not finding any chickens yet and I really don't want to get cows...

Cows see, to be quite difficult to care for, so I'm not surprise you'd like to avoid them. But everything else should be simple enough!

[At least until it comes time to shear the sheep... thaaat might be a bit of a rough day.]

It's worth doing some research at least. I remember when my parents were relief workers, they'd spend a lot of time working with locals to find ways to find what was best for the land. I wish I remembered more of it, but... I was a little girl at the time.
