Good day to everyone.

I apologize for bringing such news on the network, but for those who knew him, Izumo Kusanagi has disappeared. Many knew him and it would be a disservice to let the news go unnoticed without speaking up.

Upon this revelation, I have also learned that he has bequeathed unto me his establishment, Double Cross. But I must confess that I have no knowledge of how to run such a place, lacking the experience of owning a business. If there is anyone who does work there or anyone who has the know how of running such a place, I can use all the help I can get. Izumo might no longer be with us but I would be a terrible friend if I let a place dear to him rot away.

If you wish to speak in person, I will be at Double Cross in the Western District.

[And true to form, Aymeric will be there. Mainly to clean up the place and get in a good look but still there if anyone is willing to talk to the man.]

It is a bar. While I am familiar with going to them, owning one is a new matter to myself.

I can't say I knew him, but it's always sad when someone leaves. Seems there's been more lately.

I didn't realize there was a bar around, I'll have to visit it sometime. I could bring you some books on bar management too.

Quite a few seemed to have vanished within these past few weeks. To say it is concerning is a understatement.

But it's still an extension of your duties, so if you need me to help out cleaning it up and anything else, I can do that, Aymeric.

It is a Western style. I am familiar with the style due to being a patron of several others on the Near Shore.

I haven't been in one of those since after the war, so I don't know if I can be of assistance that way, but I could help in cleaning.

I quite agree. There is much to be checked as well as figure out before going back into business.

I suppose though I really don't drink. I do find some of the food in them interesting at times. I think I was offered fried 'twinkies' at one? It looked like it was something drunk people would enjoy.

If alcohol is not to your liking, there is always tea. It would be unwise to just serve one kind of drink after all. I am unaware of these 'fried twinkies' but it would not be harmful to have some sort of menu here.

There are photos here of those who have vanished from the Heavens, a sort of memorial. It would not feel right to take them down.

I have heard some think I may actually have a slight allergy to the contents of alcohol given at how odd I react to it sometimes. So yes, I would always prefer teas over liquor.

It was... an experience.

It was. I can handle a few sips of wine, but anything stronger is completely out.

For those I knew, who had gone... I did not feel them return to the dark. I do not know how useful this information is.
