[There's a muffled sound of Oscar trying to get something to do a thing, only his hands visible for a moment before he sighs and adjusts the phone so it's recording properly. He's standing in front of a large span of land, sheep and some horses visible behind him.

He sort of. Awkwardly waves at the camera before rubbing at his neck.]

Uh. Hi. Ignore the name on the top of this, it's Oscar, not Lugh, I just can't figure out how to change it...anyway! I, um, got here last month and my...temple? Is basically a small farm. There's chickens and a stock pond and horses and you can see the sheep back there...

[He gestures behind him.]

...and there's space for me to start growing things next month. I can handle it for now, but come spring and summer I...may need some help? If anyone wants to help? I don't have any shinki yet, so it's really just me here for now.

[And that's incredibly lonely. Not that he's saying anything.]

There's not a newspaper to put a help wanted ad in or anything, so...I figured this would work? I can't exactly pray for help when I'm a god, y'know?

[He chuckles, it peters out because oh god this is awkward, and then he just shrugs.]

Yeah. Anyway. I can pay people in food or wool or whatever? So. Yeah.

[Oh thank god someone responded and they seem nice.]

Vegetables, though I don't know what kind yet. Strawberries maybe? Flowers in the front, but that's just for looks. I don't think there's enough room for anything like corn though.

Lugh. You're Lugh? Since when we got Lugh? -oh damn it... [ Insert a prolonged groan of disappointment as he realizes that this is exactly why he did not get to meet his father in Ireland. Would he be able to meet him if he went like a month earlier? Or something..? ]

Oscar is it? Belated welcome to Heavens, I suppose.

Those sounds good. Did you need help looking up what to plant or just trying to decide in which ones?

[ She was a little excited about it now. She hasn’t tried planting in a farm yet. ]

I, uh, just got here like I said...but thanks. Yona told me about you--she said you know a lot about the...Irish gods? Or whatever we are?

Oh I can do that on my own, my aunt taught me tricks and stuff for figuring out what'll grow in the soil on our farm. But I need help tending to the sheep and probably harvesting when it comes time for that and processing everything.

I'm in Ireland right now. Among other things, I was looking to get a meeting with Lugh but he was nowhere to be found. [ Now he knows why ] I know a thing or two about Tuatha Dé Danann, if you have questions, just ask.

It looks like on the network, gods all go by their god name, haven't seen anyone find a way to change it. Nice to meet you, Oscar.

I wouldn't mind helping out. I know a few people I could maybe wrangle into helping out too.

So far, so good. It's...really quiet out here, but that's kinda nice.

No, I grew up on farm. I was just in a big city when I was brought here.

Probably something hardcoded in. You see gods become shinki and vice-versa, but it doesn't change things they posted previously.

I've helped picked sweet potatoes, if that counts. Some weed-pulling too. Anything beyond that, I don't know, but I'm willing to learn. If anything, I'm good at moving heavy stuff around.

Haven't seen it happen right before my eyes or anything, but yeah. I know people that have switched roles.

Do gods get a pamphlet? They pass out pamphlets to shinki at the training session and it's one of the things mentioned on it.

That's fair. Probably tougher for gods showing up here, pulled from your world, told you're a god and all. It's a lot to take in.
