Sorry to ask such a strange question b-but uhm... is anyone interested in fortune telling? My temple has a large assortment of celestial charts and divining cards and... well, I've been wanting to practice. Hehe...

B-but it might be a little difficult to use those here so...! ( She looks down at her hands, ) I was thinking we could try something a little easier?

( And she holds up a paper fortune teller. The top folds have four pictures on them: A tiger, a tortoise, a bird, and a dragon. )

( ooc: It's implied that Sakura has some premonition skills because she's a priestess but she herself isn't aware of it and isn't able to tap into it actively! Sakura's paper fortune teller will be asking about some popular/general areas. You'll be prompted in a tag depending on what your character chooses and you can tell me if you they'll have good or bad luck in the future. It's a paper fortune teller! It's going to be general and vague so what are you really expecting??? You can also prompt Sakura to try using her charts/cards for something a little more in depth and we can work that out on plurk at eski or PM! Otherwise, she can totally just get things wrong... she's a teenaged girl having fun with horoscopes and fortune tellers.)

I'd heard of them [only it was considered "primitive" in Nohr so he's not going into detail about what he'd heard] but other than seeing them summoned in battle that's all I know about them. How do they help with divination?

Each god can also be found in the stars. When we're born, we're born under their sign. That god influences and guides us through life and using those attributes... we can see what the future has in store for us. In the old days people used it to determine which areas to study or what jobs to seek out. S-some people still do.

The rat. It's similar to the horse in many ways but whereas the horse is known more for it's energy and intelligence... the rat is ambitious and cunning. A long time ago, the King invited the ten gods to a great banquet. Though the Dragon could fly swiftly through the sky, he arrived fifth. The king asked him why he arrived so late despite his advantage... and the Dragon explained on his way to the capital, he'd found the Rabbit floating in the river on a log. Because the Dragon was kind, he used his breath to blow the Rabbit to shore, letting him win fourth place instead when he could have left the Rabbit on his own.
