I have a question for the other gods here.

Well, two questions, really.

First - do you prefer to introduce yourself by your given name or your god name?

And second - was anyone else called here to fill in for a god of the opposite gender? I'm having trouble deciding whether I should be calling myself the god or goddess of beauty and wealth.

Then I don't think you should unless you want to! It's up to you to decide who you want to be, right? It's a bit hard to stomach being told you're also something completely else.

It isn't as if I mind, particularly. At least I'm familiar with the things Lakshmi is associated with.

You're lucky. I don't know what if I'm supposed to do at all. The dawn comes every day even if I don't do anything.

I can see how something abstract like that might pose a bit of a challenge. Have you tried listening for your followers' prayers as a guide to what you might do? I haven't tried it myself yet, but I'm told that's something we're expected to do.
