I have a question for the other gods here.

Well, two questions, really.

First - do you prefer to introduce yourself by your given name or your god name?

And second - was anyone else called here to fill in for a god of the opposite gender? I'm having trouble deciding whether I should be calling myself the god or goddess of beauty and wealth.

I prefer my given name.

My predecessor was a goddess, but I'm male. So I mostly just say I'm Aidos of morality and right and wrong choices.

Avoiding using either word is an option I hadn't considered. Maybe that would be the best way to go about things.

If you needed to, you could probably just use the word 'deity'.

I don't think it's likely to come up much. We aren't supposed to reveal ourselves to residents of the Near Shore in our capacity as gods in the first place, are we?

I mean, I don't think anything bad happens if we reveal ourselves like that.

Mostly I just say that I'm there to help, if I run into them.

Well, that is what we're here to do. I hope I can live up to the task.

I'm sure you'll be able to, it's just going to take some hard work and determination.

I'm familiar with that, so it shouldn't be a problem. Practice makes perfect, right?

I'm not really sure how to practice being a god, so it's a lot of trial and error though.

Well, I already have some experience fighting ayakashi because of that incident at the school, at least.

Are you and your partner on good terms?

We've only just arrived here, so we haven't known each other for long, but it's been working out well so far.

I haven't known my shinki for very long, but I think we're starting to get used to each other.

That's good to hear. I think my shinki and I will be able to get along well too.
