has anyone suddenly realized they've been saying the wrong name

[This was a very specific problem to have. Still, hearing "Ross" only for his gut reaction to be "that's not my name" over and over was something that kind of required investigation.]

So the name you've been using is an alias..perhaps? That doesn't necessarily make it wrong, it just makes it not your first name.

I'm okay if you want to explain it a little more? I just wasn't sure if it was just like... pronouncing a word wrong you've only ever seen written out, that sort of thing. I also had a friend who didn't like the name he was called, so he picked a different one. Not his shinki name but his real one.

I thought we only became ayakashi if someone told us something before we remembered it ourselves? So shouldn't you be fine if you keep remembering things on your own?
