It has come to my attention that the god Henir, otherwise known as Add, has sown chaos during my absence. As his shinki I deeply apologize for any damage he has caused, and would personally like to make reparations to the affected parties. You may reach me at [ IC Contact ] at any time.

Of course, I will personally investigate these claims before taking action, but rest assured that I will do my utmost to prevent any further trouble.

[ Should Jakob turn around, he would see Ain sprawled out over the floor, the lower half of his body disintegrated into mist. Clearly, this is the reason why he isn't in the video; he's just too low to.

He eyes Jakob for a few seconds of silence, before: ]

From what I understand, there have been multiple issues, and Add has not been entirely forthcoming with all of them.
Would you care to explain further on this experiment of his?

Add is rarely forthcoming about anything, in my experience, so I hardly find that surprising.

[But, oof, talking about the void. Give her a second to steel herself, Jakob.]

It was several months ago, now. Add and I along with several others ventured towards the core of magical energy that exists within his temple in order to attempt to harness its power for the sake of fueling a portal that would allow us to leave this world. But the pull of it was too strong, and we fell into it.

What happened then is difficult to recount. That place did not appreciate our presence within it, but it affected Add most of all. His entire personality changed, and he would not listen to us as we urged him to forfeit the mission and find a way to safety.

[And he tortured her, and threw her shinki into the farthest depths of the void, but these are not things she wants to say on a public forum.]

In the most technical of senses, I suppose the experiment could be considered a success. He did create his portal. But going through it is fatal for us as we are now.

I remember hearing that something happened on the outside as well while we were in there, but admittedly I was not in a state to ask questions about it afterwards. You will have to find someone else to give you more information on that front.

I think I saw him in my temple a little while back. He wandered in and mostly just wandered a bit and, as far as I know, nothing was ruined. He seemed like he was spacing out, though.

He hasn’t entered anywhere private or forbidden, has he? [ That’s a thing Add does way too often. ]

But could you describe the strange condition he was in? Usually whenever he arrives somewhere he tends to…announce his presence, so to speak.

[ Basically he has a reason for popping uninvited into someone’s home, even if said reason is just to scare them shitless. Jakob has to cover all grounds here, after all. ]

As far as I know the matter was resolved between interested parties some time after the incident. Making it public right now is asking for trouble, and not exactly of your god's making.

Indeed, I am well aware of the risks I pose in going this far.
However, Add is not forthcoming to me about all his deeds. [ Which, tbh, really really galls him to admit to a stranger, but… ]
I need to see what other incidents he might have had a hand in it, and perhaps prevent any future disasters moving forward.

Perhaps you should check the BBS first instead of presenting your god as harbringer of chaos. Add made his amends already and moved forward.

You sounds like you've been here for quite some time. May I ask when you first arrived to the Far Shore?
