Pardon me, but I have a question. Uhm... the leaves are a beautiful color this time of year, don't you think?

In this realm, there appears to be a custom w-where people come together to observe the foliage. They go to parks and gardens a-and all sorts of places to, well... I suppose to relax and take in the moment? I was thinking... I-I'd like to enjoy something like that.

My shrine's grounds are lovely but... ( She'll move the camera some to show her gardens through an open door. There are some fall colors-- bright golds and brilliant reds-- but what stands out the most are the whites and pinks of fluffy cherry blossoms, perpetually in bloom even this late in the year. ) ... It's n-not exactly what I'm looking for.

I-I was thinking of going some place this week. Friday, perhaps? ( She holds up a flyer, ducking behind it to show the camera. There's a large white castle illuminated and surrounded by red and golden trees at night. The text on the flyer is promoting a seasonal illumination. For those with memories of Sakura's world, the castle in the picture might look familiar... ) It's supposed to be the best time to see the colors there.

If anyone would like to go, please let me know. The more the m-merrier! ... Right?

Huh? Why not? [Goku leans in close to the camera again, examining the screen like that will explain anything.] Sweets are great! I like sweets with fruit the best, I think, but I'll eat anything.

Because... they're not cool?

( She's really not sure why boys don't like sweets. They've never really explained it to her. Most had said sweets were childish but... those same people really weren't that much older than her if at all. )

M-me, too! My favorite is cherries! In the spring, I had the m-most wonderful cherry jelly... ( Because of course Sakura would like cherries. Is anyone surprised? ) I-I don't think peaches are in season anymore... or strawberries or pears...

Oh, but apples and persimmon are! ( Which means its the best time of year to try apple and persimmon flavored things. ) I've always liked dried persimmon but, hmm... I passed the most delightful bakery a few days ago a-and it had apple pies! You could smell them from outside. They looked so good! ( She's practically gushing just thinking about them. ) I've never had apple pie before b-but I heard it's supposed to be one of the best ones so I've been wanting to try it for some time.

They're not? [That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to Goku. Food is food and food is great.] I guess I like food that isn't sweet too, like dishes with lots of meat and other things. But I like fruit a lot and it's sweet most of the time, so I don't see what's not cool about it!

[Good on you, Goku. Favouring healthy sugars. Not that he's about to turn down anything else.]

Aw man, apple pie sounds really good! I wanna try it too! Hey, if you go, let me go with you! If it's the best one then I really wanna try it!

Well, it isn't good to only eat sweet things... Y-you wouldn't want to get a stomach ache.

( She might be a little guilty of indulging a little too much. She's gotten better since she was younger, though, okay. The way Goku just casually invites himself along as her turning a shade of pink and she holds her face, looking away. This is.... rather forward, isn't it? Well, she never mentioned she was a princess to him so there isn't any reason for him to worry about things like status. )

Uhm.... oh... I don't mind i-if you don't mind going with me.. I'd like that very much, Goku-san. I was afraid one might be too m-much for me but if we can share... I think it'll work out wonderfully!

Yeah, that sounds like fun! [Why is she so pink all of a sudden? Did she want to eat the pie all on her own? But she seems happy too. Maybe it's just really warm where she is.] We can try it together and if it's really good then we can get a bunch of them!
