[Suzaku had woken up and been immediately given decorations to hang for the Halloween party Lady Grell had hosted. He had adjusted quickly though he had learned another thing about himself- parties were not something he enjoyed overly much.

Now that the festivities and tidying up afterwards were dealt with he had had some time to think and he wasn't sure what to make of the fact that he had fallen asleep and stayed asleep for three days.

He is sat in his room at Kali's temple, Kotetsu... well the kitten definitely started on his lap but during the course of the video claws his way up Suzaku's arm, attempts to bite his ear, bats at his hair and smacks him in the face with a paw. Luckily not with his claws out.]

Apologies if this is an obvious or stupid question. [Everything is still very confusing] When I arrived a week ago I was informed that it was normal for people to just disappear.

Is it also normal for people to sleep for more than one night at a time? I fell asleep a couple of days before the big meeting everyone was preparing for and I woke up on Halloween in the afternoon.

[He's seen a few of these videos since arriving here and though he doesn't feel too comfortable posting one it seems the easiest way to get answers]

I have had both happen to me.

[ William is currently at his own temple, but Suzaku can probably hear Grell's muffled voice somewhere in the background. They've spent the afternoon watching movies in his study. ]

You have? So it is normal? [That was reassuring then. He blinks as he hears Lady Grell's voice.] Ah. Lady Grell is with you?

[He had been wondering where she was. He hadn't seen her since the day before and he was a little worried. Whilst also not sure how worried he is supposed to be, he's still very unsure of things.]

Both going into a coma-like state and returning home seem to be rather common occurrences. I, myself, was asleep for nearly two weeks, back in early September. I have also been told that prior to my current position as Ma'at, I was here as a shinki. However, I have no recollection of this.

Do you need help? [Not that Suzaku thought he would do any better at convincing his God to do anything.

He nodded at the information. So it was a common thing. That was good, at least he wasn't ill or something. He wasn't even sure he could get ill being dead and all. He had already met someone who used to be a Shinki and was now a god, Cho. But Cho had said he could remember being a Shinki where it seemed William didn't.]

Does anyone know why people fall asleep? [It seemed no one knew what made people disappear, where they went, why they came back or why they sometimes turned from shinki to god or the other way round. So he's not got much hope that they know why people fall into a coma like state sometimes.]

[ Suzaku should get used to this absurd relationship his god has with William. He'll probably be seeing a lot of it. ]

I have not heard any definitive information on it. Though, the only inconvenience seems to be losing time that could have been well spent. It does not seem to cause any physical harm to the person.

Now that you mention it, I think I feel asleep too.

[ For some reason, Rin didn't pay attention to the dates. No one acted any particular way towards him. There were a few changes that happened in his environment, but nothing that made him feel suspicious. Though he now realizes that he missed out on a huge chunk of time. Woah!]

Guess it happens enough since my god didn't freak out 'bout it. Tho, it's possible he didn't realize either.

[ He's in his lab for days on end, doing work.]

You are not sure? [He guessed that might happen, if you were not expecting to sleep so long you might just assume it was the next morning.] Do you not live at your gods temple? [Maybe it was just common enough that no one worried about it.]

Yeah? I didn't realize the dates before. Unless I time-traveled to the future and didn't know it either.

[Which is more unlikely than a sleep coma. Rin could average about 11 hours of sleep without even trying. So what's a whole week to him?]

Yes, I do live with him. I guess it's better to be in a deep sleep, than to disappear completely. I hear that's pretty common too.

[He wouldn't be surprised? Or maybe a little surprised but there is so much that is strange but he doesn't have anything to compare it to so...]

People told me when I arrived that people disappear all the time, they don't know where they go. Sleeping is definitely less worrying.

No way! My god is the god of time and space, but I don't think he could even do time travel. I was just makin' a joke actually.

It is less worrying! At least you're still here, that's what's important.

I don't know that I'd call it "normal," but you're certainly not the only one it's happened to.

It seems both the new gods and new shinki are occasionally vulnerable to falling asleep for long periods.

I see. I guess no one knows why? [It takes him a moment but Li Tieguai was the god Hakkai said he represented.]

It seems I missed the meeting everyone was preparing for. Was it interesting?

There was a little trouble. Luckily, it seems to have been resolved without too many mortal casualties.

Yes it sounds like it happens quite a lot. I guess I got lucky.

No, it hasn't. It happened to someone I know, though.

They did. But it sounds like this has been happening more frequently.

You already heard my answer. Not normal, but not uncommon either. It's different from a 'coma' if you've read about those.

[He did some research when Yona was asleep.]

How is it different? [He hasn't read about them, he knows what a coma is. But not enough to know how the sleeping he did for three days was any different.]

As far as I can tell there's no illnesses anyone suffers afterwards - they say the longer someone's in a coma the less likely they are to wake up at all, because of how much it damages a person's body.

I see [So it is not debilitating. He feels fine, he had had no problems after waking up.] Well I am glad that this sleep is different.

[Kotetsu is interested in the screen and bats at the image of Yoon's face with a paw, there's a moment as Suzaku tries to gently move the kitten away]

I guess on the positive side... you're another example of this being true. I'd only ever seen it in person one time, to my goddess.
