Sorry, sorry. I suppose I shouldn't be so rude to my god.

[He's smiling even with all of this commentary, thinking... She's definitely fierce, but she's also definitely troublesome. He's got this feeling in his gut that tells him he needs to protect her, so he can't shake that, but he's definitely seen that she's capable from certain actions, as well.

Time will tell even more what he'll think of her, but he's fallen quickly.]

[Said a bit too knowingly maybe but she can't ever explain just how well she knows. So, she covers it up with a teasing tone the best she can. She will worry all she wants considering he has no memory of all his prior bad decisions. Hopefully he doesn't need to relearn them.

[Ah, a rude forehead flick. He blinks, and then reaches out to take that hand, holding it tenderly.]

If we're friends, then we should protect each other, don't you think? [Besides, she... is definitely the one who feels so frail in his grip. As tough as she is, he worries about that.]

[He says it suddenly, looking rather serious as he smooths his thumb over the back of her hand.] Even if you're a troublesome girl, that's admirable. You shouldn't take this all on your own.

[Yona pulls her hand back on reflex. Ah. There's only a quick glance between her hand and him before she tucks both behind herself again with a smile.]

[That sure is rejection. His hand lingers empty in the air for a few seconds before he drops it calmly to his lap. His smile stretches wider.]

[He does believe in her, he wants to, but she still feels so fragile before him like this. A young girl like this... shouldn't have the weight of being a "god" on her shoulders. She shouldn't have to deal with his own and Kija's deaths like this. Whatever their past relationships are...]
