Do you believe that the dead can be revived? Have you seen corpses walking again?

(Of course she firmly hopes that everyone says "no" vehemently.)

Thank you. I had plenty of help in extinguishing it and in rebuilding. The floor was not damaged thankfully.

Fire is difficult to come by in the ice and snow. I have heard that dragon-glass can work, too. Obsidian.

Then the hard way: tear them apart completely until nothing can move.

I don't know anything about obsidian and its effects on corpses.

Dragon-glass may only work in Westeros.

I just do not want to be caught unawares if something similar occurs here or on Earth.

It could here. No one was able to find out anything else about how it happened here, as far as I know. The Heavens haven't told us anything if nothing else but that isn't new.

No, we must make these discoveries on our own. I had a bad dream and it reminded me of the sort of defenses my temple might need.

Even if you say that, the trail for that event has gone cold. There's other things we'll have to deal with as they come.

They could return or something similar could appear. Besides, equipping my temple against them would give me some peace of mind. You see, the dead were a threat to us at my home too.

While it may sound cruel to say this... even dead human bodies are still human bodies, and not invulnerable. They can be fought.

[Some could take more damage than others. Rikudo certainly had, and Chin Yisou, as well. Hazel's resurrectees had been as frail as a living human, despite their unusual strength. This world's zombies had had to be torn limb from limb before their animation failed at last.]

Ghost? No, I presume that they stay... wherever it was they go when they die. I don't think they haunt us.

The White Walkers of my world are said to continue to move - to fight - even when their limbs are cut from them. Yes, they can be fought, but in great numbers, they are stronger than humans.

(She really doesn't want to see such vile creations.

I'd probably be the first to say "course it isn't possible" given my occupation and all but sad to say I've seen quite the opposite.
