There is a fire at my temple. Those with powers connected to water would be especially appreciated.

(Panicking? No, she isn't panicking! She is gathering buckets of water, but carrying them upstairs is terribly taxing. Meanwhile one of her tower rooms is being devoured by flames.

Also, attached to the message is a map of her temple in approximation to those nearby.)

[An enormous man in a huge jacket bursts onto the scene, his hand glowing with blue light, which he unleashes toward the flame as it forms into a burst of ice]

Hey! Are you OK!?

(While she understands magic exists now and that it can be useful, this display still frightens the living daylights out of her.)

...I... I -

(Finding her voice when she's shaking is damn near impossible.)

Y-Yes?

[The man superimposes himself between Arya and the raging inferno]

I can handle this! Is anyone else in here?

(If only Arya were here! Oh no, he's being heroic. Sansa is cautious of such men.)

I h-have two shinkis. I do not know if they are in and...animals.

They usually do not go upstairs, though.

[I can read I swear Too heroic by far, but at least lacking guile]

Find whatever's in here and get it out! I'll push through to the tower!

[And with that, more ice, it does seem to be making a dent]

(It happens to all of us. ♥ Snow is adorable.)

I shall! (She overcomes her frozen state and hurries to the door, calling for the animals. They seem to respond immediately to her voice, making their way into the courtyard.)

Is that...i-ice? (It really is amazing.)

Yep! Hi, I'm Snow. It's kinda my thing. I guess.

[He sounds semi-sure that it is indeed his thing, and beyond that completely unconcerned at his lack of certainty. People to save, fires to extinguish, all that jazz]

It's fitting. (She picks up one of the temple cats, rubbing one of her soft ears.) I think it is contained to one room, but that room is rather large and I had...tapestries...

All right, better move then. Lead on, Miss.

[Snow will continue to launch ice, clearing a path through the tower as best he is able]

(Sansa hurries to the steps and leads the way up. The room is not hard to find - what with the smoke billowing out of it.)

There. (The cat isn't having any of it. She yowls and leaps away.) All it would have taken is a spark. I was forgetful.

All good. Now then, let's get to business.

[The man's hands once again glow and he'll start dousing the fire with ice as best he can. On one shot, he gets water instead]

Huh. That's new. Probably would've been more useful huh?

[Guess we're doing water now]

(Snow, you are a lot to understand for a noble lady from a medieval world.)

Is that...normal? (Once the fire is extinguished - for the most part - she steps into the charred room cautiously.)

I think it originated from the fireplace. The wind was strong; it must have caused it to spark.

Normal? I dunno. I don't think so? Maybe.

[He surveys the burned room]

Any way you can get a glass cover in here? Would make it less dangerous.

Glass...cover? (Glass is rare and highly prized!) How would I go about acquiring such a thing?

You can probably get 'em over on that Near Shore place if you can get your hands on some cash. I don't think they're too expensive from a home furnishing store.

(She is amazed, but she quickly recovers.)

I shall look into it. Until then, I will make sure any fire I light is either well banked or extinguished before I go to bed.

[Maybe some dawning realization that this is some kind of noble girl or something. Oops.]

Sansa. My name is Sansa Stark or Dali. (She gives him a small smile.) You are truly heroic to aid me. I am grateful.

You are a shinki, forgive me. (She brings him a towel - his hands must be cold? Wet?) Who do you serve?

Serah, er, Eos. She's the Goddess of the Dawn.

[He takes the towel and dries his hands with it. Her instincts were correct to that point, at least]

She sounds like a kind goddess. (How can someone who represents the dawn be otherwise? Sansa can think of many dawns she wishes she had not seen or experienced, but that was not the fault of the sun.)

Many of the Greek pantheon are friendly in my experience.

Yeah, she's really nice, although I have no idea what "Greek" means.

Greek is the culture that worships your goddess. The Greek pantheon is filled with many gods and goddesses.

[When you live your life on an artificial planet-thing with one unified autocratic nation, the idea of different cultures is a bit foreign - whether or not you remember]

Each culture has different gods and goddesses that they hold dear. Each deity represents some part of nature or humanity.

(It's complicated for her too, but it's best to just accept it.)

[He sounds a bit dubious but he's at least accepted it for now. He is, in case it isn't obvious, a simple fellow]

Anyway, you think you and your friends are safe? Need anything else?

Yes, we are out of danger now. I will begin cleaning and see what repairs need to be made. (As long as the floor and roof are intact, she will be fine.)

[When Chinatsu sees the post, she immediately heads over. Once she spots Sansa, she'll grab one of the buckets and heads up with her.]

Are you hurt?! What happened?!

(She will get a small, nervous smile of greeting before Sansa lifts the bucket in her hands higher.)

N-No, thankfully. The fire started in the room next to mine. I smelled the smoke as I readied myself for bed.

(Which explains her nightgown and braided hair.)

[It doesn't take long for Nephenee to get there by sled, buckets of water in hand and worry in her face.]

Miss Sansa, Ah've got water to help!

[She's not going to ask how it started just yet, it's not exactly uncommon back her way.]

(It's not uncommon in her world either. Fire is something everyone in Westeros fears - from the noble to the poor.)

Lady Nephenee, thank you! (She shakes her head.) I do not think so. I cannot account for either of my shinki, but that room was unused, and the animals do not often climb the stairs.
