[Text/Action]
From: Thanatos
Date: October 5th
[Emizel was very suspicious this morning when a new door materialized in his temple. It's only happened one other time that he remembered - perhaps it was a sign that he had grown even more as a god lately. But as he opened it he immediately realized he had seen this room before, it was his bedroom - from Alan's temple. Stranger still was the tie he remembered Alan wearing some of the time neatly folded on the bed - with some sweets, and a green butterfly waiting for him.]
[At first Emizel tried contacting Alan directly but somehow he couldn't reach his phone. It did not bode well so the demon went with a second option, thinking that somebody must know.]
Has anyone seen Alan Humphries today? I need to ask him something.
[Action]
[Later on that day, the young demon could be seen wandering around what still remained of Alan's temple. Whether he got the news or not, he wanted to see it for himself. Needless to say, he did not like the results. Too distraught to really speak as he searched the abandoned garden.]
[Eventually Emizel left the temple, but he did return a second time a few hours later. This time though the demon was carrying a potted plant in front of him - red poppies from his own field. Alan had seemed interested in them before so he wanted to give him some one day. Alas, it was kind of late to do some now.]
[Still, it doesn't really stop Emizel from setting the pot down where Alan's door would be. It's probably the least he could do. With that finished though he began walking back away, gave the poppies one last look, then teleported out. If no one is there to stop him that is.]

[It's alright. He dips back down anyway.]
I somehow got one of the rooms from Alan's temple.

[ He sees the poppies and he can't help but smile slightly. ]
Always had a soft spot for the lot of us. Almost like me own mum he was.
why do I do this to myself
He's...he's not coming back, is he?
because we're terrible terrible people
Wouldn't say that, lad! I've seen people come'n go. Sometimes they come back. S'just... s'just a matter of waiting in case they do, is all.
[ And a ruffle of his hair, smiling a bit. ]
M'doing a bit of waiting meself, actually. Just have to add Mister Humphries to the list.

[And Alan will come back? Truly? Because from everything he's known waiting is the least likely thing to make stuff happen.]
--But what about his temple? It's gonna get even worse if no one takes care of it! He won't have anyplace to return back to!

[ He sticks his hand back in his pocket, finally releasing the small boy from his hold. ]
It'll be fine. This place'll be gone before the 'morrow, I'd wager but if'n when he does come back, there's always going to be a place for him.
[ And a grin. ]
We'll make sure of that, won't we?
no subject
[However.]
...Then if he has no place to go he can always stay with one of us!
no subject
[ He manages a smile. It's... not much but he wants to try at least. It's also not a guarantee that he'll be back but... one could always hope. ]
If he doesn't then... I'll be sure to tell him you said hi whenever it's time for us to quit this heaven, eh?
