[The video opens onto Chikusa's usual dull expression, although he's thankfully not stuck floating in the void this time. No, the background clearly gives away his location as at the school in one of the currently empty classrooms.]

...Cho Hakkai... hasn't returned to either his temple or the school for the last couple of days.

...Let Ayumu know if you see him. Or me, I guess.

[The only reason he's making this post is because he's a Millenial the only tech savvy person between all three of Hakka's shinki.]

[Kairi had noticed Hakkai's absence, and it's worrying, but all the same... Chikusa's just another one of the teens that hangs around the school. Apart from both of them being there at his ablution as a shinki, she's not sure why Chikusa is the one making the announcement.

Then she sees the other responses and starts to get a little more uneasy.]

Did Ayumu ask you to tell everyone about it? I thought Hakkai would be the type of person that wouldn't want his private affairs made public.

Then it's his fault for not leaving a note explaining where he is.

Anyway.... Yeah. She's... not good with technology.

[And neither is Ken, honestly. Seriously, why does Hakkai have no other shinki that are good at technology?]

You think he'd leave the school and his shinki without telling anyone? Don't... people disappear all the time here? I guess his temple is still here though...

[She sighs.]

I don't know. I think he's a good person, but then I think back to what he said to me when he was a shinki at the Ablution, and I get worried all over again that I'm not seeing things other people can.

He's stupid. [WELL THAT'S SURE AN ANSWER] Sometimes... He's really smart. But other times he's stupid.

[Or something could have happened, but still. Hakkai should know better than this, as far as Chikusa is concerned.]

Anyway.... If he was gone, so would his temple... and so would the names on all the shinki he's named. But if even his soulless still has a name... Then he still has to be around.

[Leaning back in the desk he's apparently made himself at home in, Chikusa huffs out a quiet breath.]

...Who knows what happened. But if he doesn't come back soon.... I'll use Ken to try and sniff him out...

That's a good point, about the names staying. I remember watching Nagi's fade right in the middle of spell practice.

[And of course there was the upheaval she knew when a temple disappeared.]

You just reminded me about another soulless shinki I need to try to find, though. I'd nearly forgotten about her and now I feel bad about it.
