[Mistakes were made.]

[As the video sparks into life, the focus is on Chikusa. Instead of the background being somewhere outside, or in some room in a temple, it's just... void. Endless void, in case that wasn't clear enough. If not for the fact that Chikusa's hair is still moving, indicative of movement in this weird zero gravity, it'd be easy to think that the background is fake somehow.]

[Instead of the usual blank expression, his lips are drawn thin in annoyance.]

...There's an intruder on the grounds of Epona's castle. He stuck me in a portal....

Someone tell Roy, the god for Epona, or Cho Hakkai, to tell Ken that I'll be back soon...

[Probably.]

[Hakkai pauses, and, controlling that alarmed tone into something more level, continues.]

Do you have a plan for getting back out?

...Who did you piss off this time?

[Honestly, Chikusa.

Lavi looks vaguely amused by Chikusa's situation, however.]

Are you saying you've already figured a way to get yourself out of there?

No.

[He's a chemistry person, not a time-space person, Hakkai. This is a problem he knows he has, considering the way his mouth is drawn all the tighter.]

But you have to tell Ken anyway.

[Wow, rude?? He is a totally innocent party in this? Chikusa frowns, still floating.]

...He was the one that intruded... I just asked him what he was doing there, and he escalated things all on his own...

[There might have been a thing about poison, sure, but Chikusa refuses to take blame for someone being stupid.]

...I might have pointed out that he did something stupid, but that doesn't warrant this.

[BBS comments from Ayumu are rare. Video responses are unheard of. But here she is nonetheless, in full housewife regalia complete with kerchief and apron, her lips pressed into a grim line. She appears to be sitting at the kitchen table, drumming her fingers on it in agitated, villain-esque fashion.]

What did you do and who did you do it to?

[Big sister's not stupid and knows you did something, Chikusa.]

[WOW, WHY IS EVERYONE BLAMING HIM. Chikusa actually starts to furrow his brows slightly- actual emotion, amazing.]

All I did was ask him what he was doing on one of my god's temple lands... He's the one who immediately wanted a fight. And I didn't even do that...

[All right. She'll give him the benefit of the doubt. At least, it doesn't seem like her frown is completely directed at him now.]

Did you see or hear anything before you wound up... there?

[The last is a little uncertain. She can't make out anything distinguishable at all in the background. And well, the free floating is a giveaway it's somewhere strange.]

Anything that might indicate who did this to you?

[20%. Deal or no deal.

Lavi snorts.]

And now you have no idea when you can get out.

...His name is Add... We've never gotten along when we've run into each other before, but... I didn't think it was anything that he'd hunt me down over. [There's a sort of jerk from his shoulders.] I don't think he was even looking for me... But he didn't tell me anything else, either.

Anyway... He has these machines. They control gravity... and time-space things. He shoved me into... the void, I guess. A pocket dimension? I don't really know this sort of thing...

...Someone could always force him, but... Judging by how unstable he was when he decided to do this, it'd probably just be a pain...

....Is there a limit to the teleportation ability of a god...?

... I could try teleporting towards you.

[There is a chance -- and he doesn't know how large that chance is -- that he'll do something horrible and potentially fatal to himself by trying.

He'd managed to survive his first few inept teleportation attempts, though. If it ends very badly, he can probably remain conscious long enough to get out, and go from there.]

Who did this, exactly?

Do you think it would work...?

[Chikusa isn't a god; he has no idea how teleportation really works. He knows basics, like how it doesn't require movement really, but his circumstances are a bit strange right now. Hakkai isn't a person he'd prefer to see maimed by teleportation gone wrong.]

[At the question, his mouth twitches a little at the corner.]

....Do you know Add?

Add. Hmm. What can you tell me about him?

[Of course, Ayumu intends to confer with Hakkai before taking any sort of action but regardless of what Chikusa had done to provoke this fellow, he and Ken are a part of her household now and she doesn't take kindly to acts of aggression against it.]

Can you tell me anything about his machines? Or where he keeps them?

I have no idea if it would work, but I don't think I'd hurt myself too badly trying even if it did not.

[If he can get into the void, he can probably also get out. Chikusa seems to be breathing normally, and not freezing to death, so it's not physically hazardous.]

I do. Were you arguing?

[Add is easy to argue with, and Hakkai's weary tone is the tone of a man who's had a few confrontations with Add himself.]

...Shorter than me. Pale lavender hair, looks white at a distance... He's unstable, I think. He's always been full of himself and stupid, but he wouldn't even tell me what he was at the temple for before he launched into a rant...

The machines are usually floating around him. I'm not sure if they're sturdy. The last time this happened- [WHUPS THIS IS A REOCCURRING ISSUE] -I was able to break through a shield they made with one of my yoyos. So...

[Don't die, Hakkai. Ayumu would fucking murder him.]

...I pointed out he did something stupid, but... even before that, I don't think anything would have kept him from picking a fight eventually. [Chikusa pauses, but... It's Hakkai. He can reveal this part of the story, since Hakkai already knows his talents.] He poisoned himself and is blaming me. I don't think that was the issue that had him at Roy's temple... but it probably didn't help.

I don't think there is. No one's said anything about it, anyway. Going to try and get a god to help you out of there?

...It's the only way to think of. I doubt he's going to let me out himself.

...In the meantime... Tell Ken I'll be back soon.

Why not try to get your god to break you out?

....Good. He's... [A pause, and Chikusa seems to struggle with his words a little, mouth twitching.] ....He doesn't need that.

[To worry about losing him so soon after they've lost Axel.]

[He's not sure at all, but on the plus side, at least if he dies, he won't be around to have to mediate between Chikusa and Ayumu.

So that's fine, then.]

Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't have. I've spoken with Add a time or two myself.

... How exactly did he poison himself?

[Before Hakkai risks his life teleporting into the void to get Chikusa back out, he just wants to know how much of this is Chikusa's fault.

It'll determine how much he holds it over the boy's head later.]
