Good evening.

Some of you may already know me but for those who don't, my name is Sakura. It's nice to meet everyone.

Where I'm from, I'm a healer and though I don't have all of my equipment here, I think I can still be of some use. I'm afraid there are some limits to my magic here but my shinki and I can at least help until we can get the assistance you really need. I also have plenty of holy water at my shrine if you need it so please, let me know or come whenever you need to.

I'm also looking for other healers and doctors. Even apothecaries or someone familiar with the medicine of this world would be good to know. I'd like to know my resources so I can help others better. With how things can be here, I'm sure others would appreciate the information too so if you could please respond with any useful information, it would be much appreciated.

The only one I've encountered so far is that I can't heal scars. I'd assume it's because the wound has already healed by itself, even if it wasn't the whole way, so I can't interfere at that point.

I see. Have you tried to cure poison or illnesses before?

I haven't had the chance to try it on either of those yet. They don't seem to come up in the Heavens, and I don't think we've had any incidents with them on the Near Shore either.

I had to cure someone not too long ago. I wasn't able to do anything at all but, thankfully, my shinki was able to make an antidote.

Really? I'm surprised anyone would use poison in a place like this. It's underhanded anyway, but it seems like a strange thing to go for in the afterlife.

Yes. I didn't think poison could work on a god and yet, I was called to help. I never learned the nature of the poison or the attacker.

That's worrying. Hopefully the person who was poisoned has been keeping their wits a bit more about them since then. Nobody's come after you for helping? I certainly hope they wouldn't.

He was doing well last I saw him. You don't really think the attacker would try again though, do you? I'd hope the target would be more careful and the attacker would give up.

I'm not sure. We did have those recent murders, even if they seem to have quieted down recently, so I wouldn't be completely sure of it not happening again.

To think something like this could happen in heaven of all places. How are we supposed to help those in need when we have to worry about ourselves like this?

I don't know, but I certainly hope someone's tracked the guilty party down by now. I haven't heard news of any further deaths since late last month, so I'm trying to be optimistic.

We can pray. Maybe they've gone away like some gods and shinki do?

I certainly hope so. We've had far less in the way of suspicious anonymous messages lately, so that might be a sign.
