Hello, everyone. I have a question - well, two questions, I suppose. Is it common to wake up to find items from your homeland in a random place in your temple?

[She holds up a small plant with some ripe berries growing on it.]

I found this in...

[There's a pause here as she reconsiders that statement, and she shakes her head.]

...Well, in Raphael's cathedral, this morning. I'd like to plant it and share the taste of home with everyone, but it's only a small plant. So my second question is: are there any gods or shinki out there who have the ability to make plants grow? I thought it would be nice to start a little garden behind the cathedral, but we're already in the middle of the harvest season. I'll gladly give whoever can help some berries to take home. Please let me know, and thank you.

[ And lucky for you, he happens to be hanging out outside his plantation house and right near where the orchard is. It's visible behind him. There isn't anything right now but rows of shrubs... and the occasional odd dark mass that occasionally hovers near some of the plants. ]

Wager if you plant it, it'll likely grow! Speaking from experience, mind but these [ Thumbjerk to the shrubs over his shoulder. ] grow a right treat even if you haven't any experience! But listen, if you ever do get to plant it... d'you mind if I have a few? I'd like to see if it'd grow here too.

[ And a grin. ]

Trade you for some of mine, of course.

I certainly do intend to plant it, but I'll need some sort of magic to make more of it grow quickly enough to share it with everyone.

[She smiles, though, happy for the vote of confidence.]

If I manage to find someone to help, though, I'd be happy to let you plant some in your garden too.

How long does it take them to grow normally, anyroad? Could get lucky'n it'll grow faster'n the norm here. It is heaven after all.

[ But there's a snap of his fingers in realization. ]

There's a thought though! I could ask some of me shadows to give you a hand. They've been helping with the sowing and watering here. Can't ruddy well do it on my own, really. [ And flopping his empty left sleeve to point out why. ]

M'sure if I asked, they'd be able to give you a hand!

Well, at least a season. I suppose I could wait, but I'm a little impatient to be able to make some tarts for everyone.

[She smiles a little shyly at that, but she's grateful for the offer.]

Oh! That would be very helpful, thank you. But if you don't mind my asking...

[Not that she's going to finish that question, but he can probably figure out it's about his arm.]

Tarts, eh? Being able to sample a bit of sweetness from an equally sweet thing like yourself doesn't sound like a bad idea.

[ But he does blink slightly at her question. ]

[ A headjerk to his sleeve. ]

Bit of a long story'n not at all a pleasant one to tell in public so I'd rather not but long story short: lost it to save a friend but it was worth it and it doesn't hurt at all anymore. Bit of an annoyance but I'll live. Figuratively.

Ah... thank you. I'll be sure to let you know when the first batch is ready.

[She doesn't say anything one way or the other about the little flirtatious remark he tossed in.]

I see. Well, I'm glad you were able to help your friend, at least.

Much appreciated, miss. D'you fancy some jam in return? It's all I've been able to make on my own. It's good though! Swear it on me scythe.

[ But there's a sigh as he leans back in his seat. ]

Yeah, bit of a favor done to him it was but... listen...

[ And suddenly he's serious. ]

You... wouldn't know anyone who could fix this or anything, could you?

I'd like that very much, yes.

[She smiles back at him, but her expression soon changes to match his own.]

...I'm afraid healing of that magnitude is beyond my own skill. But if I happen to hear of anyone who can do it, I'll make sure to let you know.

I'll make a note of it then! Til then, I'll be sure to look forward to it.

[ But he does sigh slightly with a resigned sort of smile. It isn't her fault, of course... and he knew it wouldn't be that easy. ]

You're a healer then? That's a rarity in these parts, M'sure you'll be a great help when called for! As for the arm... I didn't think it'd be that easy to restore--

[ And a snap of his fingers. ]

Anyone who can make a replacement, maybe? That'd be aces.

Of course. If you're ever injured, feel free to come and find me.

[She's confident in being able to offer that much, anyway.]

A replacement...? Yes, that might be easier. I don't know anyone, but I can ask around if you'd like.

I'd appreciate it, honest I would! And I'll be sure not to overwork you if I've gotten in a bit of a scrape and need to be on the mend.

[ It'd be a shame to overwork someone who means well though. ]

But if there's any large scale need for healers, I could lend a hand too! Figuratively, of course. A mate of mine taught me a bit of first aid, nothing too complicated. Must get busy for someone of your skill...

[She does smile at that, though.]

But I don't mind. It's my duty to help those in need, after all. That hasn't changed since coming here.

[ And he's all smiles back at her again. ]
