I don't think that they would do such a thing unless he starts to show unhealthy habits. If this is just a way for him to get over a bad situation then there's a chance that he would get over it on his own- or Hululu could become a goddess of her own right. At least for older gods they were born from human wishes, so perhaps if there are enough humans that have the same hope for him- Hululu could become his personal goddess.
