Do you establish a separation between you and your shinki?: No, but I feel as if my shinki has established a seperation between us
Do you feel that your shinki’s vessel form is useful to you?: He's a weapon type, and a weapon is useful to anyone, even if they only know the bare minimum of "pointy end goes into the bad guy". As for myself, no, I'm not any sort of warrior, so his vessel form is wasted on me.

Do you view your shinki as an equal?: Yes
Do you feel burdened by your shinki?: No
Do you feel uplifted by your shinki?: No
Do you feel your shinki’s personality compliments your own?: I think it's a contrast, but that can be a compliment in its own way.
If not, do you feel their personality is difficult for you?: Yes, but only because there is only so much we are able to tell them. Having to work around that, and not being able to give explanations for things is difficult and exhausting, both mentally and spiritually.
Is your shinki overall beneficial for your personal skill set? Are they effective for your purpose? As for my personal skillset, no. As for being effective for my purpose, not traditionally... but the could be.
