Shinki are just spirits, really. If we die here, we're... really gone.

Something strange happens to the new shinki though, when they die. Two have died, and they both came back, which is of course not the norm. But they were also ... different than before.
Obviously the best thing to do is not die, because we don't know for sure what will happen if you do, now.
