If anyone here has any kind of power that could either create or replicate a prosthetic limb, I could use your help. My shinki is missing one arm from just past the elbow onwards.

If it helps, he has the remains of his previous one. It looks like it was modelled on a skeletal hand rather than a normal one, but fixing that isn't an option anyway.

Another question for anyone with any knowledge of ceramics - what's the finest kind you know made out of?

[He probably doesn't want to know, he has vague suspicions from what little he does know about ceramics, but he's asking anyway.]

What kind of prosthetic? Do you mean a ceramic one that doesn't have any functionality, or a mechanical one that can be moved and controlled?

I don't think he'd mind either way. The old one was ceramic, anyway, so a functional one would be an upgrade.

Just to correct ye, my ceramic one was functional. I could juggle with it an' everything!

It's not a big deal. I just figured it would make things easier for the both of us.

In that case, a functional one should be what we're aiming for, whatever it can be made out of.

It's not like I can tell you to not be grateful, but I don't really see the point.

Standing with me in battle is all I'm likely to ask for, anyway, and that comes with the territory.

That's just something that takes time. Fighting alongside me is actually about the fastest way I can think of to become my friend.

Let me see the old prosthetic and I'll see what I can do. It may take some time to prepare the correct materials for creating a new arm, but it's not outside my capabilities.

No, I'd rather pick it up myself. [so he can scope out their temple while he's there, just in case...] There's no one here who's more skilled with machines than I am, so you should consider yourself lucky.

Fine. But I'll leave judgement on how "lucky" I am until I see if you're as good as you claim you are.

That depends who you're asking it from - myself, my shinki, or both. I hardly know what's going to be useful enough to you to constitute a good trade, anyway.

A fair point, kekek. I'm interested in the project itself, so I see no reason to decline even if you have nothing to offer. Let's say... in exchange for a new robotic arm, I'll be allowed to continue maintaining and studying it after its completion. Does that sound fair?

[In other words, Add wouldn't mind using him as a test subject... but it'll probably be fine! And free maintenance!]

Since it's my shinki's arm, I'll wait for his opinion on it, but I don't see a problem with that.

[Joker seems entirely capable of handling any issues that might come up there, anyway.]
