Caster can use tracking runes to locate missing people. I have no idea how it works, aside of it being magic, so you'll have to ask him.
Both of us can feel nearby lifeforce, and are able to tell if magic is being used in the near vicinity. I may be able to find a sigil placed nearby, no matter how well it's hidden or if it's dormant, although it may require a few tests to see how well it works.
