They don't offer training, and their screening process is limited to a physical fitness and written test. It's really a shame. It did start out as a volunteer organization run on donations, but now, it's been infiltrated by money grubbing politicians and star-struck thugs searching for their shot at glory. They've even been losing people at such an accelerated rate that they attempted to hire criminals to make up for the loss in ranks.

I'm obviously not opposed to heroism as a career, especially since it sounds like the Hero Academy makes sure its graduates are fully prepared for the dangers they'll be facing, but the Hero Association is professional in name only.
