I'm not familiar with a Ni Jeni. That's too bad. [if he was another scientist of sorts, Add would've liked to meet him. it doesn't sound like this god is still around, though, if Hakkai is freely distributing his research like this.] I'm not surprised he had difficulty observing the event on his own. It seems that whatever force decides when a god or temple is removed from this world, it tends to pick a time when no one would be present or conscious to observe it, for whatever reason. We need to think outside the box to be able to get around that.
