I know Sheryl knew a lot of people here and she made a lot of friends. So that's why I'm here to tell you she's gone.

I'm sorry I don't have any answers as to how or where she's gone but I'd like to think she's headed back home. She was a good god to her shinki and I'm sure she was a good friend to a lot of you, too.

It's less messed up and more one big mystery, if you ask me. Bad enough we appear here without warning, some people disappear under the same circumstances. I wouldn't be surprised if both things were related.
