It was in the post you supposedly read, Zangetsu.
Look at the text after the fourth dot.

[... If I wrote out how to do every little thing I'd be here until Christmas.

So Yukine just sighs and doesn't bother replying. (Sorry, Zangetsu. If you ask then you'll get an answer.)]

Thank you for linking the post. It helps clarify some things for me.

Not at all!

You’re welcome. I’m glad that it’s helpful.

Like I said in there, if you have anything else you want to ask about, go ahead.

Is there a method for learning how to use borderlines? Such as a particular training method or trick?
returnedfromtheline: (| you okay with that?)

[personal profile] returnedfromtheline 2016-09-22 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really.

Anyway, it's basically this-
Make a halberd shape with your hand, pointing two fingers and thumb out.
Draw a borderline between you and whatever is on the other side. This is why it's easier to practice against ayakashi.
Because it's a kind of barrier, think about what you want to keep out when you draw the line.

That's about it. It's probably best to get someone who can already do it to show you how.
